Both scenes make this guy look crazy as hell and in both scenes he’s violating a woman, playing to the stereotype that Back men are monsters with no respect for women. I know many martial arts movies display Black characters as buffoons or court jesters. However you have movies like Enter the Dragon and The Game of Death where Jim Kelly and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are presented just like the Asian actors.

Harriet is a fictional account of a real African American heroine who led slaves to freedom via the Underground Railroad. Harriet twists this story and changes the entire narrative. They hint that her slave master was a love interest. They create a fictional character named Bigger Long who is a slave tasked with catching run away slaves. The best example I can give would be if there was a movie about the Holocaust and you made the Nazis the heroes, extremely offensive.

Racist politicians like DeSantis stole this term and made it a negative. Harriet is just plain anti Black racism and propaganda to white wash slavery.

Unfortunately no, most of the movies at Dollar General are grossly overpriced. I usually have to dig and hunt to find bargains at Dollar General
