Agree.. i have 3 small RGB lights but from different brands.. they work just fine.. if you're looking for macro exclusively then do check if it syncs with your camera

It depends. If the rest of the scene is dark (moody scene), then 20W might be useful. But if your scene is high key, example, looker at MKBHD, everything is bright, then 20W is not going to help. For example, I have a moody setup and I use my Godox SL-60w at around 40% brightness, which is close to 24W. But, I have a fast lens and I shoot at a wide aperture. So you have to consider that. For most situations, more light is always better.

RGB ring light sounds cool, but if you plan of lighting yourself with it... RGB won't be useful.. Better go with bi-color white one

You don't need a camera brother. Phones are capable enough to get started... All the best.

Yes.. But 20W might not be sufficient light, depending on your scene. Keep that in mind.
