How to erase "Control Module Faulty" Error in VAG Dashboards Using the ABRITES RH850/V850 Programmer

- Hello, friends!
Today I am going to show you a way to erase the "Control module faulty (or defective)" error from a VAG dashboard using the ABRITES RH850/V850 Programmer. This is a fault code that usually cannot be erased and I am glad I found the solution for that!
Connect the dashboard to the ABRITES RH850/V850 Programmer and AVDI. Open any diagnostic menu, for example Audi, and run a scan. Since I am working on that dashboard on bench, it's the only module that will be scanned from AVDI. Go to "Fault Codes", you will see many, again, because I am working on bench. But particularly, you will see the "Control module defective" one on top.
Read the dashboard's data and save it to a file. After that, write the data back to the module. And the error is gone! No need to click any other button, no need to scan and clear DTCs, it's all done in the background in a matter of minutes. It is also safe for the dashboard. Just make sure to connect correctly using the wiring diagrams in the ABRITES RH850/V850 Programmer's software menu. This functionality is available with the VN021 and VN022 licenses for working with VAG non-crypto-core and crypto-core RH850 processors.

I understand your point, but we just had the dashboard for two hours and we needed to return it fast. We will try to upload more but this week and last we managed a bit more videos than usual.
