When she sings a song 'someone else' has recorded,, she sings those songs as if they are her own. Listening to her sing takes our mind and our senses to a place we're seldom taken. She is incredible.

I love your analysis. I'm not a trained singer what's so ever. I just love to sing and much of my thoughts on this was exactly what you said. Thanks for the validation. One thing I want to add. I think, in this girls case, her being blind actually helped her tremendously. When the brain has less going on (no sight), it allows for greater focus and concentration. She is extremely well trained. Probably been singing since 3 years of age. Singing the big ballads is a cultural thing🎉 in places like Indonesia and the Philippines. Add to that, her playing the piano, she is just a Very, very intelligent girl. Don't lessen her desire to attend Juilliard. Although I'm sure she can teach a class or two there right now, she wants more training in composing and scoring. And being 17, she can do whatever as well as have a pop singer career. Amazing. Loved your analysis. The Indonesian govt us giving her a scholarship to attend Julliard and help her with admission process. Hope she gets in. She is also talented musician. In her Lathi video, she did all the vocals and instrumentals and arranged the 89 audio tracks. She won Indonesia’s Got Talent 2014 at age 8 singing Beyonce’s Listen. A very talented young lady who has honed her craft.

The best voice analysis there is! It is interesting that you said, as if she is singing subconsciously. This is, because, being blind she is almost in a meditative state, where her ego has stepped aside and let her spirit do the sing. Don't you notice that she has an ego of a child, with a great passion to create? Going to Juliard school of music is not a bad idea. May be she can show others that proper singing does not comes out of the head but out of the heart!

Actually Putri can play multiplies instrument such as piano, flute, guitar, ukulele, different part traditional instruments of gamelan (Sundanese and Balinese) and drum set too (she said it's for exercise). Actually Putri can play multiplies instrument such as piano, flute, guitar, ukulele, different part traditional instruments of gamelan (Sundanese and Balinese) and drum set too (she said it's for exercise). Simon indeed make it different because after his golden buzzer, Indonesia ministry of education granted Putri full scholarship to Julliard.
