What makes you think it was prerecorded? I haven't heard anything that didn't match to the musicians on screen, except for the keyboards, if I didn't miss a player. They even had some background singers for the "woo-hoo"s and the instruments on screen matched the music as well. So maybe there was a backing track for the keyboards, but apart from that, it sounded pretty live to me.
They are really singing at that place. Ano-chan and Ikura sing with a cute voice and shouts with a death voice. They don't use a voice changer. The guitarist, drummer, and bassist also play at that place. They're not fake. They're professional musicians. They're famous musicians, so Japanese people know they're not fake.

I don’t agree with you Joel. How stripped back do you want it? They still sang live and in one take. It would have been difficult to do acoustically. Await to see what you think of the Lila’s penned Friends Remembered, which would be easier to strip back
I think is was the best.
With certain performances, they are on the stage in full and with many of the artist’s performances, they would present to listeners another interpretation of their piece. The latter was more common and remains so for many on the Frost Take. There’s probably reason as to why they decide to appear and deliver in whole over a more fitting of the First Take’s essence downsized rendition. Ty for the vid 😊
