    Lulu is cute in the logger flannel jammies. I always have my pajamas, well cannot say on though. Really nice motorcycle trip, nice scenery and the road looked pretty good. When the weather is nice being on a motorcycle is great, a trip in nice weather is awesome. If you go north into Wisconsin take highway 14 between Lacrosse and Madison, it goes through the bluffs and valleys. Stay safe and healthy guys.

      Lulu loves her jammies! Thanks for the tip on Wisconsin, we'll make it up that way one of these days.

    *I hope that you both are ENJOYING bike-camping trips ... (I've been doing it since my late teens, I'm now 62 )... One will be "very surprised" at how much gear you CAN pack (safely) on a bike !! The scenery looked AWESOME there .... Lulu was cracking me up, when she was going around in circles in the sleeping bag ... LOL* Ride SAFE guys !!

      We have been having a lot of fun, and we were both cracking up watching Lulu destroy Bubba's bed. 😂😂 People camping near us have looked at our setup and asked if it all fits on the bikes lol. Thank goodness for backpacking gear because it's light, compact and high tech.

    Great video, and you've got to love seeing the scenery on the back roads.

      Being able to see the back roads is a big reason we're doing this. It's so cool.

    See even Lulu says sleeping on the ground is no fun.🤣😂. Her piling the sleeping bag to make her bed soft. Just to old to sleep on the ground anymore.
    Just finished painting the house exterior. Another big project completed to the sale.
    Safe travels and roads Brian and Cindy, "xtreambydesign with passion"

      Wow you're really moving along getting all of your projects done! One step closer to full time!! It was hilarious to watch Lulu completely destroy Bubba's Bex. 🤣 She loves to lay on our sleeping bags rather than her bed.

    Look into CampRest self inflating, Foam/air camping matteresses, after sleeping on one, I will never go back to the ground with a ground cover, 2 fit into a medium dry bag nicely. I have slept on river banks that were golf ball sized gravel in comfort.

      I'll take a look at them. We bought the Therma Rest sleeping pads and they're pretty good (if pricey), but always looking for suggestions on better gear.

      After seeing Lu Lu on the pads you have they are very similiar to the pads I mentioned, and maybe even a little thicker, but one thorn is all it takes to pop one, and they are hard to patch

      We have been keeping a sheet on them to protect them. A hole would not be good lol.

    Glad to see y’all are doing well. So what are y’all going to do with the camper and the truck. Are y’all planning on traveling with the truck and camper anymore and if so where will you put the bikes. Stay safe and God bless

      We do still plan to travel with the rv and we'll put the bikes on Grace where the Smart used to ride. For our big bike trips we'll leave the rig with Bubba's mom in Arkansas.

    Is your long trip going to be Baja?

    • @kandm2597
      @kandm2597 2 года назад

      That would be an awesome trip. Beaches, oysters, whales, ironwood...Lulu would be in heaven! And Lake Charles is my "hometown" so now I gotta visit this park in Arkansas, one of the US's most underrated states. Best river crest I ever saw was in southeast AR. Gorgeous country. Thanks guys!

      Baja is on our radar to do but it won't be our first "big" trip.

      We really enjoyed Lake Charles when we were there. What a great place! We'll get to Baja for sure and Lulu will love running on the beach.

    Ever consider a motorcycle trailer??😳

    • @TipsyMarlinTravels
      @TipsyMarlinTravels  2 года назад +1

      We have talked about it. Perhaps down the road we'll get a trike and a trailer, but we have places we want to go first where a trailer might not be easy.
