I have a problem that I am a teen and don't exactly know how to talk and that's why people often describe me as an innocent person and that's why people also don't exactly feel like telling me there secrets. high on estrogen (in their best mood) they want to be dominated and spoken to as if you are an alpha male. On the other hand when she's
on her red, (progestogen levels are high), she wants you to be a beta male sort of (not literally) and treat her with gentleness and kindness.

Being polite, favoring others, and doing things like saying Thank You are indeed the outward manifestations of a civil society. Unfortunately we are going backwards. Yes, the world is becoming more brutish.

@@agungbaskovic Just to be clear, I can't agree that technology is in any way the problem. When you look through history you'll see there are periods of harsh brutishness and civility, regardless of technological know how. As a matter of fact, it's often times of increasing "know how" that facilitate periods of improving or increasing civility. You could argue that it was the increased understanding of warfare and tactics as well as the use of horses that led to the Kahns ruling much or Eurasia, which in turn led to the time frame when the silk road was it's safest!
Where technology is concerned, it merely facilitates "the spread" of incivility in much the same way as modern air travel facilitates the spread of sickness or coffee shops facilitate the sharing of ideas among know it all intellectuals.
