I accidentally fed this 'ladybug = change' in my G5 rewrite 'the half draconequus'. theres a changeling character pretending to be a regular earth pony. problem is they didn't realize earth ponies have magic now, or at least more obvious magic. edit: I just got the idea of the changeling hive in G5 being like ladybug central. everywhere you go in the changeling hive, theres ladybugs. *including the bathrooms*

I think Twilight was not afraid of the lady bug then because she just was a fairy Creature that was not afraid of lady bugs so it took a while for her to get back to being afraid of lady bugs 🐞
