Very nice edit. Im working on a edit that right now is over 25 minutes in 4k. Over 3 separate flights. I never fly low out to the rock. To many gulls 😝
Thanks! I just got a mavic myself. I don't think you should have any trouble getting out there with it. Just keep an eye on the weather and wait for a clear and low wind day.
The Mavic won't make it on that flight battery , I got most of the way out there and the "Return to home function" kicked in ...it made it back but I was sweating it pretty bad.
Touche! Don't know if I would have flown my mavic that far with all the seagulls out there. Working on my fears of a bird taking out my drone. Great shots though man.
Get a really bright colored skin for the drone - something like bright red, pink or green basically any color that the birds dont come across in nature. IT isnt a totally secure solution however I have found its dropped bird attacks on my Inspire down to nearly non existent. Occasionally one will have a look at it but nothing like it used to be.
I took a screen capture when i was in front of the front door. Changed the lighting to where I can see in. Can see the railing for the stairs and part of the back room. I wish i had the sun to my back. Always from the south.
gusparaguss i just got close enough where the sensors stopped me. Then messed with the exposure to get as light as I could. Could see in ok, could just make out the bottom of the stairs. In post i messed with the exposure and contrast on the screen shot of the door. Could see deep inside. Not the highest detail but i can make out door openings.
Wow 2.5 miles.. I still remembered a year ago when I 1st got it. I did 2.5 miles in a open beach too. Congrat!!

Great video man. was this shot with stock phantom 3 advanced or did you have some type of range extender
