I had a 2003 Alfa 156 JTS that I sold due to having no job during COVID. I borrowed my bro in laws 500 sports for three months and absolutely loved it, can imagine how awesome the Abarth would be. I’m currently driving another Car off my bro in law, a 2012 1ltr turbo Fiat Panda, and even that is surprisingly fun.
The only annoying thing I've found about my abarth is when you're driving hard and braking deep it flashes the hazards like an emergency stop easily lol
Yeah I find it really annoying, it happens so much in the wet it’s pretty much constant. when I’m in front of my friends they think I’m signaling to them or messing about 🙃
@@valentinartz4840 i actually cannot stand the car other than in sports mode. the steering becomes too light imho, and as for the 1.4 it becomes agonizingly slow. I have lowered the car and put in an open air intake it does go and sound quite well but again, sports mode is mandatory.
@@s55singlet44 lumpy idle is the giveaway haha , had a MK1 golf GTi with a BRD head and fast road cam etc in mid 90s and it was hilarious at the lights on idle , proper aggressive 😂 sister has a 595 abarth with few bits and pieces modified , it is brilliant fun despite its small issues like seating height etc it's reliable and a real back road blaster, lively back end when your properly on it😎👌
I own a Abarth 500. Love it. Absolutely one of the most fun one can have behind the wheel on a dime. Some of the excessive pops and bangs are quite stupid in my opinion. Sounds like a miss firing pos. Also what’s up with the terrible lane discipline.🤪
