I bought all matching lavender velvet hangers for my closet after we did a huge remodel and U love them so much. I got them at TJ Max for 19.99 for 20 so $1 a hanger. I bought 3 sets. It made all the difference in the world. I love them so much they look so nice. It definitely brings me a lot of joy.

Definitely get matching hangers. It is not wasteful because you will have them forever and it will make you feel so happy each time you look in your closet. And you are not being wasteful because you are going to donate your old hangers which will be new hangers for someone else who needs additional hangers and perhaps can’t afford new ones. All around....it’s a good thing.
Hi Allison! A good tip with the hanger’s situation is put them all together and divide them by colors, for example, the blue ones for dresses, the white ones for blouses, etc, and in that way you don’t have to buy more and waste. I hope it works for you, I love your videos💖
I so relate to doubting getting matching hangers but honestly it does make a huge difference! I couldn’t recycle them so I just gave them to family members. 😊
Cleaning out and organizing the closet is so stressful. I know, I know first world problems. But what I found helped me so much is to have someone build me a real closet and they sat down with me and asked me what I needed specifically. It is expensive at first but such a great sales piece if you ever sell your home. My closet is now my sanctuary. Plus I did buy matching hangers (Black felt) from Costco, so inexpensive. Good luck.
If you want to get matching hangers do it gradually. Otherwise it is a big expense but it really does make the closet look SO MUCH BETTER! and when you do it you will be so happy when you walk in. I say DO IT! I did and im happy I did
Put wicker baskets on top of night stand and store ya'lls hats, etc in them. Keep all your white hangers replace the others with white . Then offer the others to family or maybe someone going to college. Put a few of one color in spare guest room for your guests.
Velvet hangers are a MUST! Just moved in my new home and it was a total game changer! 😆 Also! You can put your jewelry box or make like a jewelry to go to place for on top of your night stand you added in your closet!

Hi, Allison! An idea for the hangers, is to see which ones you have the most of right now. For instance, it looks like you have a lot of white ones, so keep the white ones and then just buy more white ones to replace the colored ones. That way you aren't buying ALL new hangers! And I am sure Goodwill takes hangers as donations for their clothes!

Yes donation places do take hangers! I buy hangers pretty much only from them. I wait till they have the ones I needed so most of them match. I was collecting ikea only hangers from thrift stores but soon I’m going to start collecting the wood ones. And yes sometimes they do sell the really good quality wood ones! 🙂
I like have a variety of different hangers for different types of clothing 😌 As far as lounge wear goes, I think keeping it in a drawer works. Since it’s for around the house I personally don’t worry about hanging it up. So I keep my workout, pjs, Lounge wear, & bra’s in the dresser 😄

I think have a designated location you put stuff to put away means you can keep track of it’s state. And it meaning on top of the draw mean you can see it easily when you have the time and it can’t get out of hand.

You could put a basket on top of that side table for the things that you only wore for like a few hours, or pulled down and didn't like on.. so you just like grab something else but don't have time to put it all back up. When I redid my closet I removed all the bright and odd colored hangers. And wire ones. Kept the black and white ones. Put all black in one area and all white in another and all the wood ones in another area. Made a big difference. Eventually I bought all the same color hangers. But kept the good wooden ones though. Your closet looks good. You did the basics you needed, now you can just tweak it as you decide how else you want to put it together as you use it you will see what changes you might want to make.
It's so pleasant to see all those colors and patterns on your clothes, I love your style and a little advice is to check wich hangers are the same (like all the green?) and try to put in the same area, so some parts of your closet can be neat.
If you want to get a really pretty and inexpensive matching hangers try Homegoods. I know how much you love pink, they have rose gold, grays and black. Your closet organization looks amazing 👏 😍
