Cargo tank inspection with scout 137 Drone

The Scout 137 Drone can reach heights easily and inspect areas that would otherwise require humans working at height in order to get video or photo documentation.
The pilot in this case stays safely at the floor of the tank. The Scout 137 Drone is equipped with a 3D Lidar sensor and can also be flown BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight).
While the drone is in the air, 4K preview photos of POIs anywhere in the tank can be studied closely on the tablet screen. Meanwhile, the drone stays put in the same position.
Some POIs inspected by the Scout 137 Drone in this video:
✅ Backing bracket toe at corner connection of transverse bulkhead to longitudinal bulkhead.
This is a common area for defects.
✅ Closing plates and transverse bulkhead penetration on upper deck longitudinal stiffeners.
✅ Crude oil washing (COW) upper deck penetration hole, looking for cracks.
✅ Pipe penetration in cargo tank top, looking for fractures around weld seam.
✅ Connection of upper deck longitudinal stiffener at transverse fram slot and weld seam, inspected for fractures.
