LET Presents Blue Line On The Border - Mat Silverman with Federal Law Enforcement Officers Assoc.

Our goal at Law Enforcement Today is to tell the stories that the mainstream media channels refuse to tell. That includes the truth with what is happening on America's southern borders. The LET team has worked with numerous state, local and federal agencies to tell the truth that no one else is telling you, as well as community members, business owners and more.
Today we are speaking with Mat Silverman, President of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association at Eagle Pass in Texas.
FLEOA was founded in New York City in 1977. It is a volunteer organization created out of necessity by a group of concerned agents from Legacy U.S. Customs, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) - Criminal Investigation (CI), Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Legacy Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS). FLEOA's primary tenet was, and still is, legal assistance. Representation is only a phone call away. FLEOA also provides a legislative voice for the federal law enforcement community and is frequently called upon to provide testimony at congressional hearings. FLEOA monitors legislative issues that may impact federal law enforcement officers and encourages its membership to contact their elected officials to express their concerns.
FLEOA is a charter member of the DHS Federal Law Enforcement Advisory Board, holds two seats on the Congressional Badge of Bravery Federal Board, serves on the Executive Board of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and the National Law Enforcement Steering Committee. FLEOA also sits on the board of the International Council of Police Representative Associations (ICPRA).
Their membership includes virtually all types of law enforcement officers (i.e., uniformed officers, special agents, federal task force officers, military police) and a variety of specialized professionals such as intelligence and financial analysts, investigative specialists, support service technicians, language specialists, electronic technicians, and security experts.
