Great vid! Please let us know how the decal removal debacle resolves itself. I’m very interested in removing mine. Here in the states the gunmetal grey models come with alloy wheels, but they have an ugly blue rim-tape stripe, so I removed them this weekend and like it much better now. Would like to remove the classic decals, and add the gold “ like a gun” decals I’ve got to the black side covers. Tiger Ness added them to his and I think they look super classy.
A friend of mine suggested painting the panels black, which seems a good option. A local body shop who are very good, didn't feel happy flattening the lacquer so they could be blown over again as the paint under the sticker is very thin, they measured it with an electronic device, so they suggested painting the panel again, so both would have to be painted and it wasn't cheap, I have a fix and will get the video sorted very soon. I too have watched Tiger Ness and his decals look really good, if the panels were black they would look cool. Thanks for watching. 👍
