It is really wonderful watching you and your grandson working together! You are treating him to experience and knowledge that he will have the rest of his life. It's a bonus that you have taught him safety along the way - he is a better hand and safer on that tractor than many adults I know. He appears to be a fast learner as well. I hope you two have nothing but success, and many more years working together!
I think he is doing good on the tractor so all that is a plus. Equipment operators are always needed. I want him to be able to be as versatile as he can be. Thank you for the comment.
Always nice to have"good help" someone who listens and does what he listened to... good job.. but don't put no bell around his neck..bullseye might get jealous... take a break Jon...
Grand son getting schooled and having fun at it and grandpa is getting a workout and gonna get a good nights sleep for it. Great to see this and you've gotta be proud of him. All it takes is putting in a little quality time with them. He'll remember this when he has grand kids.
I really love the thought of him passing on to his grand kids what he did with me. I only hope it sticks. You are right about the sleeping, I just woke up after falling asleep after supper. LOL. It was 56 degrees at 5:00pm now it is 29 and heading for single digits. Rain all day is now frozen ice rink. Hope your day was good. Thanks for the comment.
Don't wish their life away. They will be old soon enough, believe me. My grandson's mom (my daughter) use to hold kitchen cabinets in place for me when she was 6. Now she is 40. Where did the time go... Thanks for the comment.
Good catch, when we watched the video he said the same thing to me. We think it was a stone on the side of the log. That is when everything went down hill for sure.
Was a treat watching this one. So happy to see you letting him run the saw mill and not just hauling the wood. Running a wood mizer is a addiction and hopefully you have a new logger for life.
You are right, I remembered when I was a kid and I was always shoveling dirt instead of running the backhoe, when the first guy said do you want to run it, I said yes and never looked back. Been running them ever since.
I have a question for you sir, if you had to do it all over again would you still get the LT15 ? Or would you get the Woodmizer LT35 that has the hydraulic arm that loads the wood and turns the logs over? I’m just wondering if the LT15 is worth having with your tractor on site. Really enjoying your videos sir. I really appreciate you showing almost everything and the lengths of your videos as well. Thanks for sharing your videos and knowledge as well sir.
I think that having a hydraulic machine is a must no matter what size mill. With that said, I really like the LT15. The bigger mills are nice but you need to be able to have a lot of logs coming and going to make them worth having. I guess it is up to the person who is doing the buying.
Now he learns , don't worry about the mule , just load the wagon , no fittle- fattening , ha ha , Good Job !!!
Thanks Jeffery.

Thank you for the kind comment, we are trying to make him all he can be. Hopefully a responsible provider.
Quality time he will never forget. Yes you are right about his skills he has learned a lot better than playing video games.
Great to see! He is learning a lot more than building and sawing spending time with you thats
for sure!

No matter where it goes from here. The young man will remember this day with you. And that is the good stuff.
That is exactly what I am hoping for.
Yes, he definitely will always remember these days.
Wow! That was a long haul. Fun to watch and enjoyed all of it. Thanks Joe.
trimco 1013 you are very welcome. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the comment. LOL Bullseye would be just the one to get jealous.
Good job guys...hes seems like a very intelligent young man. I wish I could steal mine as well.
Thank you for the comment. I offered to buy him from my daughter but she turned me down. LOL
Do you like the building with just the saw inside. Is in enough to protect the saw in all weather
Yes, I love being outside in the sun or air to cut without a roof.
Very nice! Nothing better than eager youth. ☺ Thx for sharing.
If I was only 30 and new all I know now. Darn it. lol
Always nice to have help.
Hi John, thanks for the comment. Sure is nice to have help. I am hoping he will be the one to take over.
My Dad always wanted a mill, but never got around to getting one. Wish we had. Stay well.
You too. Have a good one.

Looks like he wore you down trying to keep up!
That is the truth, this morning I thought someone beat me up. Thanks for comment.

Good to have some help.
Especially when they listen.LOL Thanks for comment.
What size is your bld
I can't wait until my kids are old enough to help me. My three year old daughter can name any piece of equipment I operate.

Nothing better then on the job training....
Except the perks from grandma's kitchen. lol
Kind of sounded like you hit a nail at the 52:49 point. Right after that, It looked like he was having a tougher time crankin' the saw.

That’s great. By the way how did his catapult school project go for him?
Hi, thanks for asking. He got the farthest distance thrown and the most accurate. Yeah.
Josaljo Won that’s awesome. I mean how many kids know how to make a good solid catapult. Tell him congrats!!
Done, thanks.

Why are all of your excellent videos so washed out Color Wise?
I believe it is from the sun light.
