    You can tell that the kids in that family who stayed and watched the whole thing play piano, it looked as though they pleaded with their parents to stay and watch the whole thing. I’m glad there’s so many kids like that who have such an appreciation for classical music

      I became entranced with classical music. I’ve always loved music but once I hear classical, my mind instantly knew this was more than music. It transcends beauty itself. Then I taught myself how to play starting with random favorites ( moonlight sonata movement 1 ) then going to chopin… I used to joke around about the dudes who made faces when they played but I know that feeling they have and started doing it as well, it’s art. I love the piano

      Playing at original tempo in such a crowded place where anyone is hardly gonna listen and comprehend the emulation is not worthy anyways. Whatever he has played is commendable considering the exodus of public there.

    The technique is incredible but man this speed ruined the piece. I wish I could play it all like you do but I would definitely play it alot slower. It’s a roller coaster of emotions, so imagine transferring all that with that high speed. You focus all your attention on pressing the keys but where is the emotion

    Way to fast, the way you played it took away the emotional part and feeling of the song, and that should be the part that you should be focusing on, not destroying the piece.

    • @heyho4488
      @heyho4488 3 года назад

      Just listen (or read the comments for that matter)... He said he was in a hurry, wouldn't be able to fit the whole piece and will play a 'short version' instead. He was asked to play this. He accommodated to the best of his abilities.

    • @alek0245
      @alek0245 Год назад +1

      @@heyho4488 Then he should not have played it at all. Time should not conflict with a piece, it is meant to be played right. This is just an example of how time can destroy a perfect piece.

    This song isn't difficult based on its technical difficulty (even though it's hard ash technically) he rushed it so much and had no dynamic control and when he couldn't play fast enough to keep up with his original tempo he slowed down causing it to sound all wishy-washy and terrible. This piece is meant to be played slowly and then suddenly you explode into flames in the coda but this is just super dry and unenthusiastic. In his coda, his voicing was utterly terrible so his left hand drowned out his right hand preventing the melody from being heard and he made so many mistakes that could be easily prevented if he didn't rush. Its a shame to see this, and always remember to practice more don't be like this guy!
