I dream of a Kurohyou return. Be a remake of the old olds, to test the waters if the people would like a return, or a straight out third game to at least finish up Tatsuya's story. It would be interesting to see how our boy would be after all this time. But also how Dragon Heat would be. With no Tojo, Kuki would had to find another way to keep his arena outside of the Yakuza, I imagine. Unless is somewhat affiliated with Daigo's new company and this works as open door for Tatsuya to join said company. Hell, would work if the plot was something like Asura Kengan: companies betting big in martial arts fights and Tatsuya is the fighter for Daigo's company, that for some reason is forced to participate! Would be interesting to see. Either way Kurohyou still have a lot to offer. As well as many awesome characters. Tenma, Saki, Shinji, Yuta, Tamotsu, Takenaka, Cho Koumei, Hyuga and many more. I really wished to see more of them ^^ But obviosly more of our boi Tatsuya, the Mad Dragon. Honestly, the best conclusion fo his journey that I can imagine is him being the owner of his own gym, where he offers to help those that believe in their our strenght to grow and find their philosophy. Honestly, this could also work as starting point of a new game, if a time skip happens after the events of Kurohyou 2. Also, not gonna lie, I imagine that IF this new game is a new IP, I honestly thing they could try going for School Delinquents now. We had Yakuzas, then we were Detectives so why no going back to school and beat the shit of each other, Crows style? Would be pretty cool ^^
honestly tatsuya showing up in any game as a substory character or random npc would make me lose my shit, i just want to see tatsuya in the dragon engine
@euniesthebaws_freepalestine yeah since kurohyou 2 took place when he’s like 19 during somewhere like 2012, man somebody like majima is 60 years so I can’t even imagine what tatsuya would be like
Very valid points. It's interesting that RGG studios went down the route of localising Ishin. I had heard that Kurohyo series was made on a different engine but seeing that Ishin is being made in Unity I see no reason why this series cannot be ported too.
The first game takes place probably a few months after Yakuza 4 and the second game is set most likely before the events of Yakuza 5. I believe Kiryu is mentioned in the first game and Majima also makes a cameo in the first game

I don't want a kiwmai style remake. With how the other kiwami games were handled, I don't think that's a good idea. They are fine enough games, but are a poor representation of the original ps2 games. I think a clean and simple remastered collection would be way better. Having the textures, HUD elements and prerendered elements in higher quality would be fantastic. Trust me, I just tried to uprez the HUD elements of the first game. It ain't no small task
@@MGrey-qb5xz I disagree on that last part. The ps2 games have a vibe to them that the kiwamis can't compare. Especially the first game. I also don't understand why it would be embarrassing if ps2 games were on next gen hardware. Unless they were exclusives, I don't think people would mind
@@MGrey-qb5xz heavily disagree. But that might be me and my love for the graphics of the generation. But I wouldn't say the combat and bosses are better. I mean for the first game, the combat is definitely better. The bosses aren't. They are just as bad in kiwami except that gun boss. But that's only better cause the rush style makes it easier to dodge the bullets. But the bosses are really lazily added cause they just reused old boss behaviour from their previous games. The combat for 2 and its remake, the comparison is iffy. Cahse at the start, kiwami 2's combat is absolutely garbage. Feeling so terrible with a horrible dodge and really slow attacks. It only feels good once you start levelling it up. The original 2 feels good at the start. Though combat feeling shit and becoming good later on is something I can also say about the original first game. And going back to the looks, the ps2 games lighting and atmosphere really was amazing. Rain really felt like rain. Compared to kiwami where it's hard to tell that it's even raining. And the cutscene animation. Putting ps2 quality animations on higher quality models just makes the animations look so much more robotic. Especially with the mouths

If a Kurohyou remake will ever be made, I hope it came out with fully animated 3D cel-shaded look. At-least for the cinematic cutscenes...
We got Ishin Kiwami, so for the future we either get Kenzan Kiwami or Kurohyou Kiwami let's go come on
Yeah but ishin kiwami is a dogshit disaster of a remake so lets not
