I have this exact model; thought I give my opinion. It’s a small SUV so don’t expect it to be a full time 7-seater. 3rd row for children. I have a baby seat and a baby capsule with base in 2nd row - with this you can just get a child in the middle. Following features are available in some overseas models, so why not ANZ? It doesn’t have sequential turning indicators. No blind spot detection on side mirrors. No heated steering wheel. You can’t unlock car by touching back door handles. What I dislike; Side mirrors aren’t in line with the outer body, they feel inwards, and setting desired view feels weird. Wireless Charger design - when you go around a corner the phone stops charging. If anyone has a solution to stop phone from sliding, please let us know. Slightly better but still noisy CVT. It takes longer to heat up interior compared to a small car. What I like; Kick open Boot - use it ALL the time The new front design and the LED lights The new rear darken design Good speed pickup Pre-set leather seat and the soft headrest Speedo Dash displays Navigation, Radio, phone etc Centre console storage and cup holders Cruise Control with auto speed and lane correction. Without Babyseats, it has good space. Wish it came with window blinds in 2nd row for shading the sun from children.
here in Northern Europe Honda advise to run the engine when cold for 5 minutes before turning on the car heater, reason being it has a GDI engine which are notorious for slow warm up in colder climates, I have just upgraded to the 2023 CRV hybrid from a 2019 CRV 1.5 and it has the same issue with warm up, Honda I believe reprogrammed the cars ECU to allow the cooling system to concentrate on warming up the engine block before the cabin, on the 1.5 to reduce oil dilution, I found turning off the eco button and disabling the climate control allowed the car to warm up faster . It does work we have sub zero winters here in the double digits. The blind spot detection on the Mk5 is really very annoying and not really that efficient, driving in the dark it was triggered by trees when you drove down narrow tracks and the constant orange light flashing to the sides of your vision is very distracting, for me the folding mirrors are my biggest annoyance they freeze up in winter meaning you have to physically assist the mirror to unfold or heat it up with a hairdryer to get it to open or close. The cabin vibration on the 1.5 at idle even with the engine warmed up is not really acceptable in this day and age, its not an issue on the hybrid thankfully. also found the 1.5 Crv very pedestrian to drive , for me the engine was not powerful enough for medium sized SUV.
@@allenvarghese7508 I would go by physique rather than age. But I’d say 10ish. Or a small adult. A normal adult would fit too you just won’t have space for legs/feet. Also if you have two baby seats in the 2nd row. You would need to climb into 3rd from boot.
Whats with the music man. This vehicle is perfect for a family of 4. 3rd row is for pets. This is the only female reviewer who I see wears dresses. I like it.
CRV is an all time favourite car of Moms. Moms just love CRV. The rear seat is so comfortable to get banged by other dudes while their husband is away on business trip. They just love it.
What’s really interesting about this review is how women are so forgiving in nature. Okay, not stereotyping but had a man reviewed the car, he would have certainly not recommended those third row for seating. Most auto reviews I’ve watched on CR-V by men, complained straight for third row to be completely unusable. But I have to agree that CR-V should have never come with 7 seater. It was 5-seater soft-roader and should have carried its lineage.
I had thoughts of upgrading to a 2021 CR-V but after driving it I was really disappointed with the 1.5L turbo engine. The newer models are great looking and have some nice new features but seriously I think Honda ruined it with the 1.5L turbo and the CVT transmission. So for me I'm happy to stick with my 2016 CR-V VTI-L with the far better 2.4L engine.
I bought a CR-V. Great family car and cheap to run. My only real complaint is the terrible transmission and what a bore it is to drive. Looking to trade in for a Stelvio.
@@disco.lemonade because I like driving and the Honda is not fun to drive. I also have an Alfa Romeo Giulia QV and it’s incredible to drive and have been just as reliable as the Honda. Both good cars.
Way better than something like the Outlander or the X-trail. But not as good as say like a Rav-4 or an Escape. Still a compelling choice, specially if you need 7 seats.

1.5 engine?
@@northcote3070 yes. 1.5T same as the Civic

Hello just wanted to know until what age kids can fit into the 3rd row seat... thanks in advance

Hopefully they improve on the CVT with the next generation.

Thank you for talking about second row width! Often missed in reviews.
Great video. Right time, content, and shots.
What color car is this (video) ?
If it's great. Then why only 7.8/10?? What's the drah doen point?
Please review the crv hybrid. Thanks.
Aussie got 7 seater CRV?DAMN HONDA
Is it a hybrid SUV???
Do the head lights have active shadowing?
Hopefully they updated the multimedia system as it was soooo laggy in civic and the crv before this.
In new Civics? Nah, one of the best right now but that's for the same reason the CRV's isn't: new gen. Current CRV turned 5 this year.
Is it Australia? The steering wheel is on the right..
It is, just check her accent

Hey,
Great review...... I need a review of 2021 Peugeot 5008
Please do it for us...
Such a great review 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😃
You're a tough grader. 7.8 out of 10 equals 78%, which is a C grade. Tough call on the most popular selling small SUV in the US...

Yep, she often wears dresses but this one looks like her grandma’s
CVT and rear suspension. When will Honda learn?
What colour is this? Grey or cosmic blue?
Did you ever find out the color?
It's Cosmic blue

It's your dads fault, mom just needs a little release.

@Nelson Chew : Haha...let go of your stereotype. Forgive Honda for throwing literally unusable third row. We can learn few things from women 😊

Honda discontinuing CRV and Civic in India
Usually the 'Swiss army knife' car for affluent families

Why would you trade one of the most reliable SUVs in the market, for a POS Alpha Romeo? Looking yo own the car for 4 years tops?

Needs a bigger panoramic sunroof it’s little small.
I think that's to accomodate the ceiling mounted climate vents
Best car honda crv ❤️❤️
Love honda crv

Looks nice
Small boot size is the CRV’s Achilles heel, when compared to it’s rivals.

im 5 foot and theres plenty of room in the back 🤣 How about a decent 6 foot 4 teenager in the back? That would be a more useful indicator of space
I liked it until I saw the chinese version (Honda Breeze) with an Accord face which looks much better.
Which is unavailable in Australia,so pointless comment here in Australia
A 7 inch infotainment screen for a 2021 car is a no from me

I agree, I wish they’d made the screen bigger for this update

This is just a re fresh. Honda need to totally re design the CR-V and HRV.

Very costly for India. I think prices of this should be 15 lakhs. Then i can purchase it.
Is it geting launched in India in 2021?
In India Honda Civic cost 15 Lakhs+ and Honda CRV cost 25 Lakhs.... Good Vehicle powerful Engine yea
