I already know y'all are gonna come for me, but ditch those makeup wipes! or at least go in with a make-up removing balm between the wipes and the cleanser. And as some other folks have mentioned, use that toner before your moisturizer ☺👍🏽
Oh girl, no wonder your moisturizer isn’t working. Acne products and toner aren’t going to work applied OVER moisturizer. And you’re literally removing the moisturizer when you’re swiping toner over it. The order of your products should be: 1. Cleanser 2. Toner 3. Acne product 4. Moisturizer 5. Aquaphor stick (occlusive balm)
Actually, acne products can work after moisturizer. If you let the moisturizer fully soak in for a good 5 minutes before you apply the product. The bigger issue would be applying things like toner and serums after moisturizer. Just doesn’t work the same 😊
If the towel is the second …. technically third makeup remover, that means that the makeup wipes and cleanser didn’t work. Find better products that work for you and your skin. For the rest of your routine, use the thinnest to the thickest: toner to hydrate your skin and then your moisturizer to lock it in. A more effective routine will help with the blemishes while you’re traveling. 👍

I haven't used those make up whipes anymore for years. I would rather use oil based cleanser first and then a foam cleanser. Works wonders for me
