I love this video!!!!!!! My hat's off to y'all for instilling THE WORD OF GOD into your children. That is what is missing in our society today. We can see in today's society what happens in the absence of the biblical teaching in children. We live in a sad culture that has turned our backs, as a society, on The Lord. Such a great video! I had my four year old daughter watch with me. In the middle of the video she said, "Mom Jesus has sun power and moon power." I asked her what she meant by that and she said, "every day Jesus gives us the sun and every night Jesus gives us the moon." Out of the mouths of babes! I said, you are so right! God gifts us each day and night here on His great earth and is always with us everyday. There are ways to influence your family with your faith without reading the Bible out loud God will guide you to make the peace in you stronger and more evident and therefore the Bible more desirable I’m also in a similar situation

My husband was the same way I never forced him but showed him kindness and respect eventually my prayers was answered and he changed and has given his life over to God. Will pray for your miracle.

I didn't realize you were in New York here going to school at one time. I'm not originally from this state even though I have spent most of my life here. I am hoping (Lord willing) that once I go into full retirement to head to one of the southern states. When I was a little guy we lived in High Point, NC for a short while and also in Fort Payne, Alabama. Concerning mountains and camping I have been an avid camper for a long time. We used to go on extreme camping trips in the Adirondack mountains of New York state in the winter big game hunting. We loaded 3 boats with about 9 or 10 men full of gear and went in about 18 miles back into the wilderness. I can tell you some hair raising stores. I always carried a compass with me because there were time I literally walked in deeper about 5 miles and so it was 5 miles back to the outfitter tent we had. Those 10 mile walks in the mountains build up leg muscles very quickly. Concerning the Bible, bear one thing in mind, it is not the scriptures but instead is a translation of the scriptures that has a lot of flaws. We need to dig deeper to discover the "sod" (Hebrew meaning depth of the word, pronounced "sowd"). Our modern day translations take us away from the true meaning the original scriptures reveal to us.
Let our line shine for all to see! Yes! Love your family thank you for sharing TRUTH and how much we need God everyday, every minute He's our light in a sometimes dark world. All Glory and Honor to Him the Lion of Judah!

That book you recommend is cool! I will be searching for a couple on Amazon and then learn from you as an example of sharing the gospels. It is Parents Responsibility to teach our children the Word of God. You will be amazed how different those children become. Children become wiser, well mannered, respectful and fearful unto the Lord.
