Fun fact about the Metro dashboard, you can kind of tell which version it is depending on how much shading there is, like the first dashboard we see in this video is darker than the final metro dashboard, if the background is light but the selected green box is shaded on the xbox mini menu (when you press the xbox button in the middle) you have a dashboard most likely from 2013 Also judging from that Wii menu version at 18:27 That Wii must have no been played since 2007 or 2008 because for one, the SD Card menu is missing, and two, the Wii Shop Channel icon looks different from the final

Yeah i have noticed that too. i think its because the ps3 is so quick and easy to reset. the xbox you gotta enter the serial number and Wiis got the parental locks
That slim that had high fan spin immediately can be easily fixed. There is a bank of 0 ohm resistors and a resistor has failed literally bridging the resistor will fix it
The quick RROD on the slim was a resistor that was broken, as the thermal stage for the flashing red dot would be normal if it overheated in 12 seconds or so.
I'm going to theorize that PS3's are reset more often because the PS3 was often used to store photos and videos. I'll let you fill in the blanks there.
Yooo been a big fan since 2019, I remember that game Slender the arrival, it's the second ever slenderman game and takes place after the first one if you're wondering. Slender the arrival was made around 2013 I think. Love your videos dude.
Can't wait for Jacob to turn on a console and the avatar has a message saying "if you're reading this then you've found my secret toilet xbox" or something else unhinged like that
For the second 360 the "xenon" motherboard, it is actually considered as an elpis motherboard now as it was fixed in 09. What makes it an elpis is the gpu, as the board is technically a xenon board and essentially the same other than the gpu which is replaced from the Y1 on the xenons to the Elpis gpu, hence the name.
When it comes to the NES and SNES minis. I think it is a matter of few look in on knowing it can do those save states. This does not discount that it is true that many that bought one of them found they are not as interested in it as they thought they would be, something even more true for ones that would be given up to a Goodwill.
I thought it was sick with the MachineHead DVD in the last one. I guess you listen to some great metal. Do you know nothingface? That's what my sn comes from. Anyway, I love your channel cowboy! Like a ten ton hammer
The System Management Controller (SMC) tracks the eDRAM thermal diode readings from the ANA/HANA. Should the eDRAM's temperature surpass the Trip Temperature set in the SMC Configuration, the SMC will initiate EC_THERMAL mode, and a 0013 error code will appear on the front panel.
i know this would probably only be interesting to a few people, but you should show the system version on the wiis, because that last wii was definitely not the latest version. could also date the console, as if it's not latest (4.3) it might not have been played (or have played games released) past 2010.

I have a console from a month after launch that seems untouched it still works and still blows out hot air. No signs of tampering. maybe microsoft fixed it at some point but there is no service date on it. but there is a 2011 dashboard it is an NXE Kinect hybrid. so its kind awkward as the OG warranty seal is still there untouched. the warranty seal was never replaced with the newer one. and the console is also very clean. weird huh?
Just wondering if you need the same power supply that corresponds with the motherboard? Or are they all universal? Like does an early power supply work with a late model motherboard?
