I don't skate anymore, skated for 17 years, I saw Tom in 2003. in Dortmund at Monster mastership world championship. He skated up the big four stair euro gap noliie big spin revert and nollie fs big spin revert.. he was on the course and kids were yelling asking can he sign the shirt and he came over and signed it, I was close up behind the rail and had some shirt and looked down he looked up and waited will I throw it too but I didn't cause I thought I won't catch it first try not to hold him on that throwing shirt back.. I always regret that.. chilled with some pros outside but never spoke with Tom. I see lot of guys here saying don't skate anymore but come to see Tom skate on this clip or whereever.. same ... I older I get I just check out any Tom Penny footage and makes me happy again same as when I was skating.. Don't know him personally but your skating is like artists or composer's work, you made happy a lot of people and gave motivation. Wish you all the best where ever you are. Now I have a kid and seeing me watching Tom's skating he knows who's Tom and said he would like to meet him. Thanks for all the skating and Amrit man thanks for this video SK8 4 life homie))

Great video not a skater ( a writer) but whilst doing 6yrs thrasher was the only magazine i could read that had some graff in it , road trips , insights on an underground subculture Etc ..was really a blessing at that time. Ill always remember an interview with someone (a death wish rider i think)who had met up with tom somewhere abroad and was explaining how he was always travelling had no bank account etc and seemed like a true free spirit ( what kinda pissed me off was the interviewers condescending tone about his lifestyle ) anyway i can see in tom someone who is totally passionate about his skating where money means nothing... A rare thing in pro skating i think...Anyway rant over😂 Just stoked i can watch RUclips again haha
