I got mine from Peterborough a few months before the oshawa store oprned. Im from oshawa. I drive it on the sidewalk, paths and side streets that arnt busy i wouldn't recommend taking on msin roads as it only goes 32km top speed and inclines are challenging!
If it's a mobility scooter it already is. As long as it has turn signals and break lights and tail lights it's golden. I have a mobility scooter and can drive it anywhere and all it has is reflectors. I'd buy a bicycle headlight and taillights for it.
That's not exactly true. Even with a full light package & speeds of 23 mph on my EW36, law enforcement scolds me when I merge with traffic to make a left turn with the light. We're supposed to follow the bike rules. With the exception of riding with traffic momentarily, if we can keep up. That's cuz Mobility Scooters are not street legal. Specially not these ones that look like cars & choppers. Mine's being delivered in a few days. & I fear people pushing these rules until they're outlawed entirely. So peps, please stay in the bike lane...
