  • This form was taught to Master Yang Fukui by his great uncle and grandfather. It is very different from the Yang style form I learned from Grandmaster William C. C. Chen. It is a large frame form. Very BIG, and provides a wonderful contrast to Chen's small frame, minimalist "60 Movements.

People might see how the outer form deviates from what they have been taught but totally miss the apparent skill. Don't mistake the container for the content, guys. This looks like really good stuff.

The slowness is so powerful. Pretty sure its Wu style. The leaning forward is very different.

One of the most dynamic, powerful and most rare of masters you will ever find here or anywhere. It was a deeply unique and profound experience learning from this generous and gracious gentleman. Sublime in every sense of the word.

Truly. I just visited China with him and he is revered there as well. Our visit to Wudang mountain was profound for me.

You were truly blessed to have made such a pilgrimage with this treasure of a human being. Wudang mountain is considered the "mecca" of Chinese martial arts. If there is one thing I learned and walked away with from my brief time with master FuKui, it was that true Chinese martial arts has it's basis in every aspect of nature itself. Be well, & cheers.

A frog inside a well thought he had travelled around the world.
This is a lousy performance. Yang style isn't like this at all.
This is his own interpretation only.
      You can perform better. Really!
