Thanks, I try. I'll confess some of mine are better than others though :-)

Just googled this room number as we’re booked for a Greek trip next year on this room 🎉

Would be a dream to stay in a cabin like that someday!

Cruise lines giving the option to bid for upgrades is offering some unique opportunities depending on luck. If I recall we bid just a couple hundred dollars for this (up from the verandah room we had). Definitely costs more though, and we're wildly fortunate - don't get me wrong.

We're staying in a Junior Suite like yours on Odyssey for a back to back (total 20 days) in May. We are Diamond Plus but have only stayed in a Balcony room once. We usually book an inside to save money so we can cruise more often. We booked this in 2020 for special occasion. We were supposed to sale in 2021 but had to lift and shift it to 2022. We received a RoyalUp Offer this week and the lowest bid on a 1Bedroom suite was only $70. . The size of the 1 bedroom looked amazing for 20 days but the offer was only for the second cruise and we would had to change cabins after the 1st voyage. Also, not only did it have only 1 bathroom, which we are used to, but there is no shower stall so we would have to climb into a bathtub to shower. That's just not safe for us. So strange that with so many 65+ travelers, you wouldn't have a safer shower in a suite! Hoping we made a good decision by not bidding.

It's unfortunate that the shower situation is problematic for you - otherwise it'd be quite the deal! Nothing is more important than your safety and comfort though. In fact we're soon re-doing our master bath at home for this same reason.
We were similarly surprised to find that Sky Suites on Celebrity Edge series ships also have a step-in shower/tub combo. You can see that in this video we just posted: ruclips.net/video/zreLmlL_wgM/видео.html
Enjoy your Odyssey sailing! I'll admit to feeling jealous, as 20 sounds great, and this Jr Suite felt more comfortable and like home than almost any we've enjoyed before.

Are the jr suites on the lower floors a little smaller? I feel like the higher floors look a little bigger. Could just be angle?

I'm not sure, unfortunately. The different restroom configs (two toilets, large walk-in shower w/ no tube, etc) could play into the living space. That much would seem one thing that could impact the size and layout.
