Bought some chocolate chrome classic round toe in D width, feels like vise grips on my large and pinky toe. The classic round toes are very narrow. I wear a D width on my RW 8119. Fits perfect.
Sometimes it’s just how leather was tanned/treated. What I do is constantly applying leather conditioner in those hot spots and massaging/flexing the leather to soften it. It’s literally “manually breaking-in” the leather.
Just got the Charcoal rough and tough about 2 weeks ago. awesome boots
Hey man thanks! Wear them in good health. I do have the CR&T round toes, that leather is very easy to break-in.

Definitely not the best American made boot but still very iconic and well constructed for the money.
I agree. Maybe they're the best for the price that you pay. Especially when on sale.
Got any shoe trees? It would help maintain the shape.
Yea, I'm using regular shoe trees (not boot trees) from Nordstrom. Thanks!

Look like scratches not patina
They aren’t scratches. It’s hard to show it on videos. The thing is, they stay there even after conditioning them.
