Cathy, thank you so much! Reading your kind comments and that you love the same things as I do is so inspiring to me! Thank you watching my videos and inspiring me to keep going!
Love how you decorate with your quilt and your home is so beautiful with all your quilts. My favorite is your sewing room and how you store your fabric. I watched part 1 and part 2 of your sewing room over and over again. It's so beautifully organized. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
I would love to know where you got your pale aqua armoire in your living room? It is just the size I have been looking for and the color is lovely. Thanks and I love your style and quilts!!!
I had this on speaker & my husband says I don't know who you were speaking to but turn it down if there g6 to keep smacking the lips when they talk lol so I now have my ear piece in listening I never noticed it till he said something. You're home is gorgeous
Hi Tina, I always appreciate your feedback and I thank you for bringing that to my attention. I am new to this and still a bit nervous when I film myself speaking. I am trying to challenge myself to do things outside of my comfort zone and speaking is at the top of my list for this. I am definitely a work in progress. Thank you for watching my video.
Your home is so beautiful and your quilts, vignettes are perfect! Thank you for sharing…I do wool too and have that same tray with all the months! So fun!
Thank you Beth! It seems it all works together our quilting, stitching and wool. I love the tray and being able to change for different seasons. I am working on my next wool for the tray. I am just a beginner on doing wool, but really love it too.
So very beautiful as always! It is very inspirational and you have a talent for combining your decor with your love of quilting. I always look forward to seeing your new videos. Happy spring🌸
Oh my! So beautiful, darling, and inspirational! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us❤️ My daughters had Muffy and Hoppy when they were little. I’ve had fun starting a collection for me!
Thank you Natalie! My daughter had Muffy’s as a child too and still has hers. I love to collect now too. So much fun to use them with our quilts and stitching!
Beautiful and love how you coordinate all of your treasures together! Original and it reflects your style perfectly! Your quilts are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your talent.❤️
Love all your quilts and how you display them! Can you tell us how long it took to build up your impressive stash? I too have a good sized stash but wish I had started my collection of 30's fabrics sooner. Do you have a favorite fabric designer?
Linda, I started quilting in 1997 and really liked 1930’s reproductions from the beginning. My sister encouraged me to start quilting and she also loved the reproductions. So my stash has been acquired over the years. Now when I buy fabric I mostly buy kits. Over the years I have loved Aunt Grace collections and Darlene Zimmerman too. I think right now I am really enjoying Lori Holt’s designs. She uses her vintage finds to decorate as well as inspiration.
Susan, thank you for watching! I store my specific holiday items such a Christmas in a large storage unit with doors in my garage. The things are in plastic bins. I don’t put up a big Christmas tree so I don’t have to have a place to store big items, just small ones. I store my seasonal quilts on shelves in a closet. A previous video shows one place where I store them. I plan on future video showing how I store my things when not displaying them. I also gather quilts by color when decorating each season and also my vintage McCoy pottery too. Thank you for all your good questions.
I have been looking for the pattern. I made it long ago, but asking a quilting friend for the name of pattern as she made it also. When I find it I will let you know. Thank you for watching!
I found the pattern for the quilt. The title is Barbara’s Antique. It is by Debbie Caffrey. Debbie’s Creative Moments. Inc. www.debbiescreativemoments.com. PO Box 29418 Santa Fe, NM 87592-9418
This is all very beautiful, you have a nice selection of quilts. I do have a question though, where exactly do you sit and have a cup of coffee/tea at or even eat your meals at? I’d be afraid I’d spill something on of your quilts? It’s all very nice but can’t imagine myself maneuvering around all that on a daily basis..I would have just left it with the quilts in the hutch and maybe the pink and white checkerboard placemats on the table and maybe a throw size quilt on the back of the couch or the sitting chair.
Thank you for watching and all of your good questions! On a few of my other videos I have shared my kitchen and a table where we eat our meals. When we have a special holiday meal with friends or family I do take off the quilt and use a table cloth or placemats like you do too. On my Christmas tour I shared my table setting when I had my quilting friends over for brunch. I sit at my stitching chair both in my living room and sewing room and have coffee/tea or cold drink too. It is just myself and my husband as family is grown so it is easier for me to have my quilts out along with my others decorating things. I appreciate all your good comments and questions! Thank you
Yes, you can do this too! I get my inspiration from watching other quilters, stitchers and decorating. I have the same couch and love seat only in yellow
Kathy I have seen the yellow couch set as a friend of mine had it and I really loved it! I love the yellow.! It is so cottage.

Suzan every thing is beautiful. I was wondering where you found the little frames that you have your cross stitch in?
Suzan, the little frames that you see my cross-stitch in are from Hobby Lobby and Michaels.
Wish I knew how to do that…
You can do that 😊
