Nice truck! New w900 sure takes these classic paint designs well. Makes me remember my first new W 900 I baught new in 1975. It was green with the Seminole paint design.

@@AndyTheKenworthGuy well I guess since they can't figure it out then it's a option you can do in the shop to get more spare on the dash I am sorry but Kenworth need to get with the program the money we spend on these trucks I hate to say it that's why I went with a peterbilt this time because of the factory installed options .

Have you ever done custom aftermarket headlights on de w900's? I've seen a few of them with really nice LED headlights in my province and i was wondering if you've ever installed them for clients.
I sure have.
There are two really good choices I know of right now. The trux light heated led and the JW speaker heated led. They will both run around a thousand US dollars but I thought they were worth every penny
They are great.
Hi Andy, whats the maximum wheelbase allowed and whats the minimum wheelbase with a studio sleeper if ur pulling a reefer
I would have to measure and depending on kingpin setting but I think approx 260-265
I didn’t get mine with the pto switch in but I ordered one for one of my spare spots. Will there be a positive and negative in the spot or will I have to wire it as well?
Spare switches are wired to power.

Beautiful build Jaime . One question though, can a W 9 be speced with the all in one aero mirrors? Just wondering due to driving so many trucks with the mirrors like on this truck in sloppy weather and you get the semi vacuum effect of the liquid hitting the convex mirrors and then spraying the main mirrors and with the mirror heaters on it drys all the road crud to the mirrors
No. You have outside air cleaners on the W and then have no room for aero mirrors. If you order without air cleaners outside then yea. However I’ve never done it so not sure if it’s still possible
I currently have 3 freightliner coronados, I guess you could call the mirrors "aero" as the connex and flat mirrors are in one housing. I can tell you that my convex mirrors always ice over first, and my washer fluid spray always ruins my clean mirrors.

how do they measure truck wheelbase? does kenworth offer prewire for satellite dishes?
Front axle to center of rear axle group. And yes we offer pre wire.

What's the part number for that hood fender support?
Not sure as I’m not a pets guy use chassis number 972682 and ask any kw parts department.
L11-1173, L11-1173R for left and right side. KW parts dept has it listed as Hood Guide Bracket. You have to order the lower piece separately.

He changed them out himself to have LED. Disc aren’t always the best choice.
