This is my analysis: Yoongi is doing alternate service(due to his injury) and it will be longer (21 months instead 18 months) 4 of them enlisting now will mean Yoongi, Joon, Tae , Jimin & JK will all be out of the army around the same time(that is if Joon, Tae , Jimin & JK go for regular army & not airforce or navy) I think their promise to comeback as a group in 2025 is the reason for this Actually if you look at it, except Jin & Yoongi all the members have/are enlisting early than the cut off It's their decision I highly respect but the only reason I can see for this decision is that they want to comeback as group together as soon as possible & this shows how much love, respect & committed to eachother, the name BTS & Army
Theyll go for the regular army for sure because otherwise what would the point be of the 4 of them enlisting right now if they dont wanna get out of there as soon as possible. They like us dont want to drag it out and wanna get the whole squad back together as soon as possible
