Hello, greetings from northern Indiana, not only is this interesting and very informative, but the photo albums you also put together are very nicely well-done. For the past several years, I have acquired, off eBay, a number of folk items, coins, a few medals dating all the way back to WW 1, and a HUGE number of full-color stamps dealing with Romania's history as well as religious and ethnic heritage. As a matter of fact, in that collection, I also have an issue of Solia dating back to 1948 and also a commemorative stamp, from Romania dedicated to St. Mary's Cathedral in Cleveland, issued in 1994. Even though that issue of Solia is entirely in Romanian, I can only just bits and pieces, like pidgin Romanian, but what can I say? Because I also happen to have a two-year Associate's Degree in Spanish, I very much like to zero in on the nuances between both languages. Plus, though I am half-Romanian, I really can't help it if I like to stay in touch with my roots. My paternal grandmother was baptized at the old Descent of the Holy Spirit Church @ 5:36 in 1924 when it was at first located in Gary, Indiana and then later relocated to nearby Merrillville. So, all in all, this was a BEAUTIFULLY well-done piece of work you all put together. Thank you/multumesc! DOAMNE AJUTA! MULTI ANI INAINTE!!!!!! ☺

Valerian was a man among males. His build-up of the ROEA and his association with the Iron Guard both flow from his love of his people.
