Is this game worth picking up? Would only be able to play for a couple hours a day so I don't play games too much but this looks like it could be interesting
If you like realistic fps games you would problubly whant to look in to this but its not going to be like any of the vidoes right off the bat your going to need to put some time in to it to get to a relitivly well off state in tarkov you. will also be walked on by people like the guy land mark was fighting in the game. If you think you will not be super tilted when you die and are willing to put in time and effort to learn the game and get some of the basic stuff done i would highly suggest it. If not then i would save my money. also as a side note it is much easyer to get started when you have ferinds that play and if you dont then you can look for a group there are many discords that have LFG chats for new players including the official tarkov discord.
The game requires a lot of time to get far into, but it is worth the money. The gunfights are definitely better than any other fps I've played and after putting 1k hrs into it thus far myself, it still makes my blood rush and gets my heart pumping in scenarios like these in the video. The game has very high high's and very low low's. Meaning, it feels amazing to come out of a raid stacked with loot and gear from other players, but when you die or something negative happens, it can really suck lol. Still, it's the only game for me that continues to give me an adrenaline rush. I would watch more videos to help with your decision, maybe Pest's raid series to see the highs and the lows.
