Great story Moci!!! She was something awful and what's even more terrible was that the employees were full of fear because she had the backing of her equally corrupt father. Family run businesses can be very challenging if there is no one to put them in check when they operate in corruption. Good for Clara standing up to such corrupt morals and inexcusable behavior. Even greater is that her father, the owner was had equally good morals and no tolerance for bankrupt morals and unacceptable treatment of the employees. Hopefully, the employees also learned that they do not have to accept such behavior.

Umhmmmm! I know a few people like her who have allowed authority to alter their character. All she had to do was be respectful. That cost nothing. I never understood people like that! And to think that someone standing up her deserved the worst possible treatment is ridiculous! And the dad wasn't any better. Yup! All because of her being a bully, her dad also ended up losing his job. Clara stood up to her and this was a great example of not allowing anyone to intimidate or to disrespect you, even if you have to lose your job for doing so. That bully wasn't expecting that someone was going to put her in her place and decided to retaliate, because she knew she lost the battle. Show respect and you'll get respect.
Respect is a two way street you earn respect by giving it down to the small children you have to give respect to earn aka get it.
