I watched this and the other video about trying to save your marriage or whether you married wrong. What I have learned in the journey with Christ is this: We might not fully know ourselves or the partner (in terms of weaknesses and blind spots) going into a marriage covenant, but if you know servants of God who can help you with prophecy before getting into the covenant, that can help. More importantly, once you are in the marriage, it is important to understand who your enemies are. All the people around you, whether they love you or hate you, must not be considered your enemies. The enemy is always spiritual, and is Satan. He does not want marriages to work and will use anyone around you, whether they are good people or not, to do his dirty work. The sooner you understand that, the easier it will be for you to fight, because you will use the right weapons to fight. You cant win a spiritual battle with physical weapons. In my view, I think your marriage was dealing with a spirit of lust. How that spirit came into your marriage is dependent on one of you or both you and your ex-husband. There was a portal that was opened, and the spirit got in. It is either that or the spirit was there even before you got married, and it was never cast out. If the spirit is already within the marriage or in one of the parties to the marriage, then it has to be cast out in order to get back on the journey of recovery and restoration. The important thing to know is that the evil spirits are always looking around and always knocking into our lives and marriages. The slightest portal that gives them access, they are in. These portals are created by any form of sin or lapses in prayer lives. Even what you consider insignificant like anger, unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, is big opportunity for the kingdom of darkness to capitalise and attack. Thus, it is very important to know why the scripture emphasises that we are not fighting flesh and blood. And by giving ourselves to the desires of the flesh, the temptations, we are opening portals that allow or invite the evil spirits to influence our lives and destiny. It is even more important to understand that the evil spirits are going to intensify their attacks on you if you have a calling that is supposed to advance the Kingdom of God, which is a rival kingdom to that of darkness.
