I feel for you... I lost my brother unexpectedly, and I just knew where he went. He did not accept Jesus as his Lord and savior despite my concern for him. Jesus became the Lord of my life as an adult, and I wanted to share this wonderful experience with my only sibling. After coming home from the hospital, I stood behind the recliner, buried my face and pounded the soft top. I wailed in anguish... I will never see him again. Two days later I received a vision that he is okay; he is happy and standing tall! I suddenly remembered that we had given our lives to Jesus as a little guys, but I had forgotten over time as the cares of the world crowded their way in. A peace washed over me and relieved me of the pain of loss. I realized then I am in error, and I am not the Judge. Peace be with you all.
I understand how a soul can be disturbed when a loved one passed away. I am born to a muslim father, who became a Christian to marry my mum but later reverted after they had given birth to me. However, he did not stop my mother from raising us (her biological and stepchildren) up as Christians. He died as a muslim but I always console myself and felt in my spirit that because he had asked my mother for forgiveness just before he died, he must have repented because it was the truth that set him free (John 8:32) and it was the truth that made him asked her for forgiveness. I am sure that he must have asked Jesus Christ for forgiveness because my father was a proud man to have unexpectedly asked for my mother's forgiveness publicly, and knowing that he was baptised as a Christian gave me immense peace. He would not have asked for forgiveness if Jesus Christ had not touched his heart.
Thank u so much for your teachings which has been a blessing to me and I’m sure many others, however when it comes to the lame man and ur illustration about the man who told u he was standing in faith for his healing by the mere fact that God’s Word says he is healed, by the finished work at Calvary. .because Jesus died on the Cross to validate it and he was taking God at His Word. By (Faith) as we do live by in every area of our lives. We take God at His Word. Hebrews 11:6. I am 78 years old. Have been a born again believer for over 50 years and have claimed my healing in the same way this man did and God has come through for me every time. No one laid hands on me every time and these were serious attacks from the enemy, like Jairus, I took God at His Word. As u know all healing r not instantaneous even after the laying on of hands.. Again thank u ..

This is great! I'm leaning so much. I grew up in church, but this is different. Love how he stops and explains why, how, how, when. Love the details. Where is this church?

Pastor Skip, or Pastor Nelson, (whoever answers of course): You made some comments about not being able to have fellowship by podcasts or in any online versions. When you look back on that--did you ever even imagine what had been happening within the last couple of weeks--including Easter Sunday, when that was virtually the only way a Christian service could be viewed?
The short answer is, “Yes.” If you wish to look more in depth at this topic, Pastor Skip recently did a three part series on this topic. The second message addresses this most specifically. www.calvaryabq.org/teachings_view.asp?ServiceID=4217 www.calvaryabq.org/teachings_view.asp?ServiceID=4221 www.calvaryabq.org/teachings_view.asp?ServiceID=4223 Sincerely, Pastor Nelson Walker CALVARY CHURCH

Hey Tom! Thanks for reaching out. The lettering is from one of Calvary Church’s series from Pastor Skip called, “The Bible from 30k.” You can find all the archived messages on our RUclips Channel or by visiting our website, www.calvarynm.church.
Hi @Echo West! While Pastor Skip will use different versions as a reference from time to time. The translation he uses the most is the New King James Version (NKJV).
10:31 Repent and Baptism are connected grammatically. If you're translating "eis" as "because of" then the verse reads that your forgiveness of sins comes prior to baptism AND repentance. Contradicting Acts 3:19.
If you have to spend time explaining the word “for” in order to re-explain the obvious reading… you might be reaching. Baptism is for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. That’s why Peter didn’t answer, “I already told you to call on the name of the Lord.” He’s telling them what calling on the name of the Lord looks like.
Thank you for another very good Bible study.
Sunrise is miracle. This whole life is a breath of God. Something supernatural is something that supersedes the daily miracles.....
