Back before he started hanging with GBC and making drugged out emo songs. I always preferred his older, more rap-based songs. He said in an interview once that someone he knew basically killed his confidence in rapping. It's a shame.

@@chance5270 I said more rap-based, as it's hard to box his music into any one genre. But he definitely rapped much more in the early days and that was the stuff I enjoyed the most of his. When he started hanging out with GBC and getting completely drugged out every night, his entire style changed, literally and musically. I just wish he had stayed on the same path he was on with the same friends around him, minus JGRXXN, who just wanted to profit off of him.
