Yeah, it is. I read recently that after recording the album "Heart Shaped World" with this song on it along with several other great songs, record execs flew in to preview the album with him and just sat there with no show of enthusiasm. His career had gone nowhere to that point. But it takes some really lame idiots to be oblivious to Chris Isaak's songs at that point. They didn't belong in the record business when they were that stupid. It was a couple of years later before this song broke into national popularity when released as a single.

I love Chris Isaak and I sing this song live but I've noticed there are often subtle effects added to his voice during the high notes of this song, in this one there's a delay that's faded in. So don't beat yourself up if your voice doesn't sound as harmonically rich :)
