Please don't ever short any shares that shows "no shares to borrow". That's usually a stock that's either rallying or about to rally. And Let's not short AMC until GME cools off. Both of them still got some fire left in them, lol.

Core ppi increase = company need to spend more to produce product = lower profit
They can increase product price, but if they increase product price, then customer needs to spend more, lead to cpi inflation will increase.
Both are bad news for company
It doesn’t matter, is all a trap , Market Makers taking retail traders’s money, the can move the market in whichever way they want regardless of any fundamental, if they see majority of retail shorting the market then they will squeeze it

The feds just took on a ton of debt, they have to keep inflation high to pay it off, which means they'll have to make a rate cute no matter what the report has to say.

I’m honestly confused on what people/markets are seeing to cause a so many positive moves despite a plethora of negative news!

I believe it's a mix of emotions. There is a fact that the economies have already recovered from Covid damage, and are growing. AI boom, Chips demand, etc are a big factor. Plus, the markets are not giving much importance to inflation data (the interest rates are the important thing in this matter) because the big companies are not showing, at least yet, difficulties with managing debt, and so they keep growing. Remember, everything must come to an end and you just have to be ready for it. Tomorrow news are very important, because after that only the may's CPI data is available for the FED decision. Be very attentive tomorrow and take your conclusions based on your research. Hope I helped.

It doesn’t make sense why things are reversing up or why Powell refuses to sound hawkish. Even the few time he does sound slightly negative the market still booms.
These last month it seems like the only consistent indicator I have is that the market will go the opposite of my trades.
@@ennieminee4470 I've been there and done that. The best strategy I have found is to stop worrying about Macroeconomics and trade the charts and the price action. Avoid trading on big news days also.
The market frontruns the feds and it can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent.
Cash is where you want to be until rate cuts and the yield curve un inverts. That’s when recession starts and markets drop. Then you go long. It’s not a good idea to go long when it’s at ATH. Be patient.
