I totally agree with you! I'm a payroll tax accountant with neither licenses. I have a Masters in accounting, and that is irrelevant to my tax experience. Some recruiters send me job offers for jobs that are not in line with my expertise, and I tell them it's not my expertise or experience. I love payroll tax even though it is a niche market. I will be getting my CPA, though, for employer representation, as I understand the need for the license.

What are some of the reasons you would owe taxes.I don't think that I owe tax. My agent use a new software 2020, and now I have to pay them back money. My income didn't change much. And how long does it take Tham to have a hearing.

A $1000 Item should be $100-$10 but it is compounded taxed indirectly many times before the final price.
Since if a store sells a item its not the taxes that it was put on at the end, but the taxes put on the people and others before which cost it since close to 40% goes to income tax for some and companies make you pay for it.
Despite rental for companies are not taxed the landlord puts most of the price up due to they barely make much due to the property taxes they are told by the Gov to increase rent to pay for the tax and many do not make much for that rent of $3000 a month without tax would be $500 or less which the poor push for paying more for rent indirectly.
Let alone fuel tax which increased things a lot, corporate tax, and the various other taxes which add on before the final sale with all those middle men which which also gets put on the price. So much taxes not even an accountant can tell you the truth how much it is in how much taxes the item got charged. Just like an iceberg only the small percentage is clearly visible.
Even property taxes in a normal county collects 2.5 billion and 53%-65% goes to school, out of the 2000 teacher if they got 100k a year that leaves them with 1.2 billion which helps the teachers union which they push for higher taxes like all public sector jobs. again that is 1 country out of over 3,000.
Foundered Of the US wanted independence from being taxed under 7% on goods without income tax, corporate tax, death tax, fuel tax, tax on top of tax, etc.
    So it seems.
