It's not the shark you see that gets you.

there are always sharks around, with no fences in the ocean, sharks can swim anywhere they want. so just because one was not spotted doesn't mean they are not there. the best choice you can make is not to get in the water, just observe the water from the safety of the beach

Nah Tigers are #2 for human fatalities second only to great whites and oceanic white tips don’t come this close to shore.

Why was it in the water? Hmmmm maybe because it's a SHARK duh. That's like asking why the lion was in the jungle.

Asking a lion why it is in a jungle is a legitimate question since they don't live in jungles.

Tail too long- looks like a thrasher. Not dangerous.

No such thing as a "thrasher" shark. Thresher sharks are a deep water pelagic species that very rarely, if ever, come into near shore waters. This one is a Tiger, which are common in Hawaii. Tail looks longer because of wide angle lens.

Tiger Shark. Thresher Sharks are considered dangerous, Their tail is used as a weapon, both, to hurt, and stun their victims, whether that be you, or a fish.

Nicely done Thresher 🦈's are one of my most favorite shark's. The tails on them looks pretty cool 😎 💙💙💙 Thresher 🦈"s are cute 😍But I wouldn't want to get slapped by a Thresher shark's tail.
