Today I will be reviewing the new Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes. I have three colors from the new Rare Beauty luminous powder blushes: Cheer, Hope and Joy. In the video I will show you closeups and swatches in natural light and I will aplly each of the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes on my face. I also wanted to compare the blushes to Chanel’s Fantasie de Chanel illuminating blush and the Haus Labs bio radiant gel powder highlighter in Rose quartz. I think the fact that we are still talking about the LE Chanel Blush from a year ago is a testament to its timelessness.

I find them very alluring, Angela, but I think they are a bit too much luminous and shimmery for a daily use... I prefer the cream blushes from Pat McGrath.

Thanks so much for this review! I already have the Chanel Fantasia blush, which I love. I am more medium to medium light warm in my skin tone. Sometimes I can use the Chanel as a blush, if I build it up, or as a blush topper. So, it even works for me (I was afraid it wouldn’t). I definitely want to try the Rare Joy blush, now that you demonstrated all of these, and the comparisons were very helpful.
I really like them as a highlighter on you! They look stunning. For the whole cheek, I feel like it’s too shiny for my preferences, but I can see why people are going crazy for them. I feel like the Haus Labs works for me as a blush because it’s a bit less metallic while being illuminating.
But…I have 3 of the Dior Backstage glow quads which have pinks and corals, so I think I don’t need the Rare Beauty to use as a highlighter. But if I were to get one, it would be Cheer!

Hi Angela! I’ve got Cheer initially and I liked it a lot so I got back and got Happy - we had it available here in Sephora, it’s so beautiful, I hope you eventually can buy it as well. I use it very lightly with a very soft brush, just like you explained and it looks gorgeous. I’m 54 and needles to say have texture, but if these blushes used light handed they can be quite stunning. Your review is so on point, as always! ❤
Hi Angela! They all look so beautiful on you! I’m glad I ordered Cheer since I love the Chanel Blush and have a back up of that one and I was hoping Cheer would be similar.
Hi Karen Eleanor ❤️ Cheer is a gorgeous color. Chanel is a lot more sheer but if you apply Cheer very lightly is has a similar effect to Chanel. Just make sure to start with a small amount because it's quite pigmented. If you are looking for a good dupe to Fantasie de Chanel, I think the Haus labs highlighter in rose quartz that I showed is the closest to Chanel. xoxo

Hi Angela. Wow when you put the first one on it is so pigmented, they are beautiful. The fantasise de chanel blush was one of the first products I bought from watching your videos and it is still my favourite. I wanted a back up but they sold out so I dont use it as much as I would like as I dont want it to run out (so sad hahah😂) I also was looking at the shade happy, however I like all three of those shades on you❤ x
Hi Heidi ❤️ The closest "dupe" for Chanel's fantasie de Chanel is the Haus Labs highlighter in rose quartz that I showed in the video. It has nearly the same amount of luminosity and coverage as Chanel. The color is not an exact dupe but this is the closest product to Chanel that I have found. xoxo

All those blushes are beautiful but so much shimmer is not practical! I’d buy the Rare Beauty in Cheers and use it sparingly and for special occasions! Of course the choice of Cheers is because of it’s price point! 😊❤

I like Joy on you the best. As most people said in the comments they are a bit too shimmery for my taste.

Good afternoon Angela. I am not familiar with rare beauty. Never try them. The Chanel blush that you just I do have and love. I don’t like the reformulated blushes. Why they reformulated them? I learned in painting that “the enemy of good is better “. But I am enjoying the Chanel blush. 🥰🥰🥰

I absolutely love her highlights but I bought love and cheer and I hate both. Love is straight up like a copper eyeshadow on me and cheer is orange with a lilac shift to it. Both are the weirdest blushes I’ve ever owned.

These are SO PRETTY ..... "but" so bright, they are more like makeup for teenagers. The colors are marvelous though. I was excited by these but they are just too much and I won't be buying them.
