Speechless.... You always have a knack of choosing great subjects - this was for me one of the most emotional ... The filming & capture of the inner journey, and the ride in the dessert was epic...

hey mark can you please make a video on how you did that transition on that 3.29 shot. it's a great story and so well expressed in videos, voice, edit and music! Well done . i have a hypothetical question for you if you have to restart your documentary journey from scratch what camera gear would you pick with a 1000$ budget .

Would you possibly be able to reflect on the focal lengths used in a few scenes where maybe it wasn’t the standard length most people would gravitate towards, but helped tell the story the way you envisioned?

Oh wow this was amazing Mark & team! The story was deep for just only a 6min film! Shows that you don't need much time to create emotion and connection. A master example of that.
I was just wondering from a filmmaking curiosity point of view, why the 'big jump' was in the middle of the film (around 3.45), with a fairly light score, and not more built up to a triumphant ending moment with a bigger building musical score closer to the end? Was it to allow enough time to flesh out his feelings after making the big jump more, and to reflect on his brother and his own future? Just curious. Sam.

The ridge riding at Caineville would make for some EPIC scenery as well if you had the right doc subject. Those things are terrifyingly tall and narrow and the consequences of misplacing your front wheel by an inch can be pretty dire. There are some shredders that ride those knife blades like they're nothing though. Would make for a great scene.
