I gave my wife for her birthday a blue Pliage with brown leather 15 years ago. She still uses it regularly because it's so handy and versatile, looks great. Recently she bought a larger Pliage color ivory with brown leather.

Great video - I have had the Le Pliage tote in different sizes and swear by them. Although they may be seen everywhere, you can't beat the function and form of this bag. I have had a bag repaired before but it will decrease in size all on four sides because they essentially refold the bag and sew it to hide the worn down corners.
@@PinkLookbook Yes, I would say that if you used the bag for every day items, it would be ok. But something like a laptop did not sit well inside after repairs were done.

I love my Longchamp Le Pliage bags. I own two originals, one navy blue and one black. They are timeless, versatile and durable if you take good care of them. Thank you for spelling 'Longchamp' correctly.

Unfortunately, I don’t. Longchamp seems to have discontinued some styles - I’ve been looking for the Le Pliage Hobo and it seems to have been discontinued as well

I've looked at a few times at Nordstrom in Chicago, and while i think it would be useful, I don't think the nylon is worth the price. But I realize that everyone has different tastes in bags.
I think some colours and models of the Pliage do go on sale, usually the special editions. Not sure about the “classic” colours and models. Maybe also try resale?

That‘s interesting and definitely worth knowing. In mine I can just about fit my laptop, so I guess after the repair it may be too small

I love Le Pliage bags have a few and also small cosmetic bags and coin bag which I use as catchall for small bags.

I guess many people would prefer leather over nylon, it may be the reason why they issued limited editions with a leather body
