excellent vid as usual...I wouldn't even use the push..I'd jus jab n immediately after hit that jumpin roundhouse...another good combo is a jab, to a jumping low roundhouse...saechai is one who effectively uses that

I used this kick successfully against a guy that stabbed me in the left leg. Landed face down but dropped the other guy and got away alive.

You will know when u truly know how to kick. By then this shouldnt be hard for you. If u dont know how to roundhouse properly, dont bother

Mathieu. J take a close look on weather or not you're turning your hip properly.

Like what Gulherme said, you might wanna look on your technique for that. What I usually advice for my peers learning muay thai is to learn slow and focus on technique first. Then add power, then speed. Consistency always starts from proper technique.
Turn on the ball of grounded foot(left foot), twist your hips(right leg should be parallel to the ground) and swing your right hand down. Get someone to watch you and correct your technique or take a video so that you can self improve.

Most people usually have a problem with the lead than the rear when starting out. So with your lead, are we talking a switchkick? Either way, your hips must be engaged. The way I was taught about the rear kick is simple. You are using your hips to throw a bat.
