It may seem counterintuitive but c1 wormhole sites generally give similar or slightly better payouts when accounting for the ehp of the rats in them when compared to c2 sites, plus you could probably clear them much faster and easier in a thorax (getting this information from rykki’s guide)
Good luck with your move! So exciting that we're near the end of this journey but will be very very sad when there are no more episodes to be released.
I think you could increase your isk/hr if you built an MTU so you could just scoop and warp out at the end of the Site rather than having to run around collecting loot manually. I am not 100% sure but it seems that way to me. You have MTU blueprints I remember you getting at least 1 or 2 of them :)
Dens and 5/10s have the added benefits of blue modules, with your challenge since you cant sell them, and you dont care about isk cost of fits per say since you dont spend isk to get them, only time, materials and effort. Doing them may be better in the long run, as over time your fits will increase to be even better than t2 fits 😊 with an easier time than manufacturing t2 modules
To be fair when you went through it was pretty wobbly, so it was most likely EOL for a while and it popped when the timer was up. Since that was a thera to C2 hole it was most likely an F135 which is 7.5 points. For a Heron to pop it, it would have to be crazy precise with mass going through that hole before it would be collapsed by a T1 frigate. Not saying it's impossible, but it is highly unlikely.
I want to echo that an MTU could be great for these sites. Not only does it make looting more efficient, it also gives another warp-in. Further, if something goes wrong & you lose your Thrasher, there's a good chance your MTU will still be there when you get back, with both your loot & whatever your Thrasher dropped.
12:04 I’ve never had my rewards pay out automatically, on one of my toons I have SP rewards from about two months back still waiting to be redeemed. ISK rewards also. I wonder if there is a setting that is switched on your account to auto redeem?
I realized after that there's actually no good reason it should be the case, but I was calling Serpentis as the best isk/hr pirates to farm because their LP is practically GOLD. But that would only help you if you were looting and selling their faction items, I don't know why the bounties are higher... My guess is the bounty risk modifier was/is just higher in those systems, probably because their items are worth a lot and that attracts more people to farm them, and then causes more ship destruction in those systems.
I think it's actually mostly just that a blaster catalyst is the highest DPS destroyer and it naturally hits serpentis right in their resist hole. (It hits Guristas in their weak spot too, but shield tank on Guristas means more ehp, and ECM slows ratting down)
It's been so long since I ran PVE content in wormholes, I remember almost nothing about it. When I get bored of running these Besieged Covert Research Facilities, maybe I'll give these a spin.
@@AndyKauffman-ml3og sadly im not as knowledgeable in eve either 😅 but i think wh salvage makes t3c's and their mods(the rig thingies they have that make them versatile, not sure what its called properly). Other than that, probably, but i do not know what
With the restrictions you put on your character, you make it pretty damn hard to make isk. Lowsec highend anoms, such as Forsaken Ports, give a lot of isk, but require a good ship and fit.
in order to increase the ISK per hour, consider searching for a C2 Freeport hole, some corps created an astra or forti in a C2 with C3 and Highsec Static so everyone can dock on it. then you can live there for a while and rat the C2 and go to nearest C3 and rat there with a 87m gnosis for example. with a gnosis i need like 17 min to clear Fortification Stronghold which yield 44m of blue loot. but ppl like to jump the gnosis, so its a bit risky ofc
re: not being scared of Herons, it’s generally justified, but in FW I have seen the odd dual MASB battle Heron - the dps is not too scary but they tank like billy-o so they could whittle down a shitfit Trasher! : edits: silly question - why don’t you scoop the blue loot as you go? The wrecks will stay for warp-in purposes because you’re not salvaging.
I totally understand not being able to buy from the market but not being able to sell seems unnecessarily difficult. I mean I get it totally I just don't see the point to not being able to use the fruit of your labor. 100% understand making everything yourself and keeping loot you make but I don't understand being able to sell stuff. Does it make things too easy because of Inflation of value of stuff? It's a real question not being sarcastic at all. I saw Wadd do it in a Tristian... it was wild! Now might be a very good time to make an MTU from one of those blueprints you have for collecting all the loot.
Well it's part of the challenge, its 100% solo, selling on the market means that you gain isk from other players. Bill is trying to make isk only from NPC, btw there is quite a bit of materials you can turn directly into isk by selling to NPC. Ans not sure if its still in the game, there is trade runs of selling/buying to NPC orders and make isk how the first players 23 years ago did 😂
I'm still pretty sure stealing ESS banks is going to be the best isk/hour for you especially if you can find a decent region with a lot of 30-50mil banks
this series competes for a nomad tale as my #1 favorite EVE series of all time. keep it coming!!
I appreciate the shoutout and link! Taking those sites on with that fit was impressive. Loving the series man o7

Yeah the only problem with that idea is he has to gather all of the mats by himself - no market trading

Hope you've been alright, it's been a few weeks since you posted and i am patiently waiting and more than willing to wait more either way :)
Good thing I watched this haha... I was thinking of moving in a Paladin to rat in a C2 XD

When you got to Fera, in your unbonused scanning ship, no one would probably have had a problem scanning just to get home
Have you considered looking into pochven? Shoot some drones and then go looting/salvaging the wrecks or Observatory Flashpoints?

Daily rewards redeem after 30 days
You could make use of the shared bookmarks from Eve scout to speed up the process - or would that be considered as cheating your rules?
Hey, awesome video, would like to see the fits you are using!

Oh! I almost forgot! WH salvage can be used to build higher-level items. I forget what exactly, but that could help your overall efficiency.

Just because I was too focused on running the site. In the second site I ran at the end of the video, I did loot as I went.

His cruiser isn't anywhere near as expendable though, which is a problem if there's any resistance at all.
The only rule i think is silly is only corvettes in hs.
there’s barely anything worth doing in space in highsec anyways
you can store things and buy things and that’s it
If youre really gonna farm just park a throw away explo frigate in a C2 with C2 static with your ratting ship
