- Recorded on Saturday, April 4, 2020. Sirens in Spartanburg County are tested at the first Saturday of every month at 1:00 PM ET. This is a tornado siren ambience recording of a 2T22 and Thunderbeam/RSH-10 in alert and attack. One thing is very odd, the Thunderbeam/RSH-10 may have sounded attack twice for this test. I thought this is one of best siren ambiences I ever filmed thanks to the Panasonic HC-V500M's camera for excellent ambience recording. I have filmed the 2T22 up close and the Thunderbeam/RSH-10 too.

The 2T steals the show on this one.
the attack signal makes me feel like i'm looking at fighter jets over i-95, how the hell did they get through
One of the most eerie ambiences I’ve heard
Yeah no shit
This is probably worth mentioning that the Whelen sirens were heard at Wofford College near these two sirens. Amazing
These things, have always been creepy to me, but fascinating at the same time. As I’ve learned more and more, I just grow more and more fascinated by then. It’s really cool!
the Ambiance of the 2T22 Sounds Like a Air Raid
That is the first time I've heard a 2T22 or Thunderbeam that sounded creepy.
We had 10/12 Allertors and Thunderbeams so this is a combo I’m very familiar with. I could usually hear 2-3 Allertors and 2 Thunderbeams at varying distances and for some reason from my vantage, they all seemed to come on one by one giving an even eerier quality.
I grew up in a small town so we never heard anything like this. Moved to Spartanburg when I was 9 and my whole family flipped out on the first Saturday of the month because we had no clue what was happening. We lived maybe a mile from a 2t22 😂
Imagine being in Rochelle il when it goes off and the fairdale EF4 goes by
I’m planning on driving up to spartanburg to see the 2T22 next month, always wanted to hear one in person
Good job Christopher!

That 2T22 sounds sick.
It's sounds normal both of them are healthy
@@sirensofohio5737 That 2T22 always sounds underpowered to me.
@@sirensofohio5737 it sounds like my mini FS&S 2T22B.
Ambiance sounds pretty good if you ask me. Nice work Christopher!
Awesome video 😊😊😊
I once recorded the sound of a RSH10 in Perryville Missouri
The one by the water tower on 51 and Edgemont? If so, its been replaced with a FS 2001.
Woah eerie
