This is how it works, no matter what sometimes things don’t change, Peter will always remember these words “with great power comes great responsibility.”
7:44 - I couldn't remember when this theme sounded more epic than in this moment in the cinema... For those, who were the fans of Spider-Man since 2002, we never expected to see it first-handed.
Running together, swinging together... So many wallpaper worthy shots for an everlasting moment. I'm proud to be in the generation who saw all 3 Spiderman cast solo and together in this one.
And with the final swing, Tom’s theme mixed with Elements from Tobey’s theme with the choir, and the hopefulness of Andrew’s theme, Peter is no longer your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, he is now Spider-Man, New York’s protector. Such a freaking brilliant film.
Of course, and not only Tom discovers what it means to be a Spider-Man, he discovers them from Tobey, Aunt May, Andrew and also from himself. First, He learned about May's words "With Great power, there must also come great responsibility" It means that if you can do anything with you power. use it for the good of others. Second, Correct me if I'm wrong, I think he also learned from Andrew as Peter Parker 3 that if hope was lost, don't give up and keep fighting. Third, he also learned from Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker 2, that a hero doesn't kill even though they kill their love ones. and the last one is that he can protect someone he loves which costs something, erasing himself from their memories so they can't remember him. These are the reasons why he became a true Spider-Man in the movie despite erasing himself from their memories since he doesn't have a choice.
1: that she said... With great power 2: comes great responsibility 1: wait, how did you know that 3: uncle Ben said it 2:... The day he died *Tears and goosebumps*
@@Phoenixifyable well, apparently the whole trilogy we've had is for peter to become the spiderman we know, basically it was an origin story. That's why he didn't know it until the end of his trilogy
@@Phoenixifyable his uncle ben didn't say that line. Just like in the comics. It was originally peter who said that line in his thoughts in the Stan Lee's spider man run.
I think many people should give Michael Giacchino some credit for keeping the Spider-Man theme consistent as what I think is one of the best music score to ever come out from the MCU while also one of the best music composer for the MCU along side with Alan Silvestri, and the best music composer for Spider-Man since Danny Elfman. That my opinion on this.
They stuck to one composer for the Spider-Man movies, unlike all the others in the MCU, besides Avengers. A lot of them, never had consistent themes or memorable one's. Spider-Man also has character themes also, not even Thanos got one.
6:27 Only the people who watched the movie will know. The music that's playing right now... It's a scene where it's so sad and tears come out, and it's a music that touches the hearts of the audience.
**SPOILER WARNING** **SPOILER WARNING** The final swing scene where Tom's Peter Parker gracefully glides off the roof of his apartment and swings into the snowy night is honestly one of the most powerful ending scenes to a marvel movie since the original Tobey Maguire movies in my opinion. Throughout this entire Homecoming Trilogy, Peter has been a boy learning what it means to be a true hero. He looked up to Tony Stark with all his advanced tech and relied on his wisdom for guidance, but struggled to move out of his shadow when he died. He didn't know how to be as strong and powerful as the other Avengers, and had a more innocent view of the world even after the events of Far From Home. It wasn't until he confronted true evil (the Green Goblin) that he realized the terrible sacrifice made by every iteration of every Peter Parker at some point that leads them to find their full potential. I loved how Tobey's Peter was the one who stopped Tom from killing the Goblin, because he knew where that path of vengeance led and showed Tom's Peter that their inner strength is what makes Spider-Man truly powerful. And in that last scene the MCU Spider-Man finds his own inner strength, and is able to let go of all he loves in true Spider-Man fashion. And at the end, he has nothing but his wits, his webs and his determination to do what's right even if he has to give up what he wants the most. In the words of the original Aunt May, "Sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams."
I don’t see much people talk about the ending of this movie enough like that. It was a bittersweet ending. I was never super convinced of Tom’s Peter until the end of this movie
7:37-9:30 This feels like a proper Spider-Man theme; the chorus in the background combined with the more serious tone elevates this and definitely gives me some serious almost tragic Elfman vibes. I love it!
“Peter Parker is no more, but Spider-Man lives on” that final line in the script give me chills cause Tom Holland’s Spider-Man became Spider-Man, New York’s only protecter. What’s more sad in the ending is that instead of spending his time by himself on Christmas , He decided to spend Christmas night on fighting crime, the ultimate sacrifice he could make for himself cause of the spell, There will never be a happy ending for Spider-Man. I’m glad I’m here to witness this movie last December This movie will always have a special place in my heart ❤️
"With great power, comes great responsibility." Has been taken to another level. Peter finally realizes this. Towards the end he doubts himself and Tobey saved him from committing an act that couldn't be reversed. Peter chose to save instead of harm. Peter has the power. He had the power to save villains that weren't "villains" in the first place, and as such, with great power comes great responsibility. The responsibility to save those whom he believe can be saved with his own power. At the end he realizes this. He truly became.... Spider-Man. Aunt-May didn't die for nothing.
@Epicthomas 2000 This was Tom Holland's "Welcome to the spider club" film. He became a true spiderman in this film. Waiting for Miles.. and maybe even Flash with venom... maybe even anti venom...

2:25 this part of the track is honestly haunting, especially after the seeing the ending of the film and the effects of the choices peter had to make. as a spiderman superfan, this movie had everything i wanted for a spiderman film. it was perfect imo
For me it really captures the menace that is the green goblin. How he hid in plain sight and let Norman gain Peter and May's trust so he could strike. And the important lesson Peter had to learn from all of this. Truly is my favourite part of the theme
7:02 this is aunt may's motif, i love how it keeps playing whenever peter talks about curing a villain or when he actually does cure a villain. it's also incorporated into his actual theme at 8:12 which is so nice 🥺
@@ray..2702 yeah, it must be terrible to have everyone that ever knew you lose all their memories of you and look at you as a stranger even though you still remember your memories with them, that must be so painful to go through, but at the same time, this gives Peter a chance for a fresh new start as the true Spider man we all know and love
I was scared that this would be nothing but fan service, but I was shocked for how well balanced and amazing it ended up being. It's one of the best MCU movies for me.
That final swing with the Christmas aesthetic combined with that new gorgeous red and blue suit that looks straight out of the comics was so satisfying to see. A brilliant ending for a brilliant movie.
7:44 I remember that moment right there the only tear of happiness I've had for years seeing my childhood, teenage years and adulthood wrapped into a moment that felt like a dream. The theme song you hear elements of every Spider Man theme in it. Thank you Marvel,Stan,Ditko. Last but not least. Friendly Neighborhood Spider Man (Tobey Maguire) Amazing Spider Man (Andrew Garfield) Spectacular Spider Man (Tom Holland)
My favorite bit is at 8:10 when the Homecoming theme seems to be in full swing, but it's actually a new melody taking over. I'm not a music guy so it's hard for me to properly explain it, but I love it!
8:39 I love how they have the high pitched violin chord from the beginning of tobey’s theme at the end of Tom’s (not to mention the choir from Tobey’s and the pacing from Andrew’s theme) Michael Giachinno really outdid himself on this one
So many amazing moments in this film. I loved the closure all the Spiderman had and redemptions they had. Tobey saved green Goblin this time. Andrew’s saved MJ unlike how he didn’t save Gwen. Telling Electro he was never a nobody. Tobey’s getting to see Ock again. Saving a younger Spiderman from taking a life, something you can’t come back from. All three getting to hug one another and support each other as brothers. I love this film. Every battle and emotion felt earned.
I am so glad this was the time I chose to go to a theatre. The movie, the energy, the music, the people, everything was just beautiful. What a time to be alive.
This movie finally convinced me that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is ready. Making the Home trilogy his origin story was one of the most interesting ideas for a live action Spider-Man. It really feels like we witnessed the end of an era, but a birth to a new. What a bittersweet ending
6:57 is truly the completed mcu Spider-Man theme that we’ve been hearing throughout the trilogy incomplete as he was becoming more and more Spider-Man and now with this movie he truly is his own Spider-Man
At 4:22, Tom’s Peter gets his “Responsibility” motif, similar to how Tobey has his own, albeit this one is much more emotional. The swelling of the music and the melancholic feel of the choir pushed this score to the top of all the MCU scores for me. EDIT: Definitely think that 7:01 could be the actual Responsibility theme, but I feel as if it's more of a completion of Tom's theme; in my opinion, I think the grief and responsibility are intertwined, thus 4:22 and 6:27.
No 6:27 is Tom's responsibility theme . Imagine the same situation of Tobey donning his suit again in Spider-Man 3 but with tom in his movie with this soundtrack 6:27 ,enough to make my eyes watery and feel Spider-man at that moment .
@@daveann 4.22 was more like a grieving one . That doesn't sound like a responsibility theme . Sorry . But 6.27 does and I made an edit with that score, of Tobey donning the suit again and it suits very well if u ask me that's > elfman's responsibility score .
No, 7:01 is Tom's responsibility theme since it first sounded when aunt may tells him to help the villains even if its not his responsibility. And its integraited in his own spider-man theme in 8:11
I absolutely love how MCU Spidey's theme evolves in each of his solo films. Homecoming's theme was good for portraying a "still working his way up" Peter Parker: an overeager teenager wanting to be big, but realizing he needs to settle his pace down and start small. Far From Home's theme takes it further by being a bit more grand to portray Peter stepping up as Tony's successor while stepping out of his mentor's shadow, being able to fight a threat bigger than the one before in his solo outing and showing he is deserving of his status as an Avenger. And then there's this rendition. A bigger, darker but yet more triumphant reprise mixed with the beauty of a choir. The movie where Peter learns what it truly means to be Spider-Man, as the man behind the mask: with great power, there must also come great responsibility. No matter what, Peter must not give up. He must not fall. He must keep soldiering on. No matter how much he gets hurt, how much he gets wronged, how much he must endure, he must keep fighting. Even without anyone left for him to lean on. It is his power. It is his responsibility. In honor of those he cares and loves, and for himself. As a hero. As a man. As Spider-Man.
Spider-Man took all his hard won lessons to heart. The best people are lifelong learners who can always gain new insights and ideas from others. That constructive thirst made Spider-Man relatable and inspiring.
7:37 - 9:30. The enhancements to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man theme / motif combined with what he was doing on screen at this moment really show his growth. He isn’t Iron Man Jr. anymore, he has now become his own independent Spider-Man with much more experience and knowledge to take on future challenges.
@@pratibhakandarkar5883 He literally wasn’t. The first movie was based on him finding his own identity and getting off Tony’s leash. The second movie was him trying to be his own hero. The third movie was about him being on his own, still being his own hero. You didn’t watch any of the movies
*When you think about it, this Spidey has the most experience to back him up.* *He fought some of the Avengers, then fought alongside them. He took on Vulture, Mysterio, lost Aunt May, and fought/cured beings from other universes.* All that experience will serve him well in adulthood as Spider-Man.
Not to mention no one knows him. It takes one strong person to deal with such a twist in their Fate, and to deal with such dramatic consequences for their own actions.

I knew from homecoming that the Score was going to build with each movie and the way it was done was brilliant, I wonder if Michael Giacchino knew where he wanted to take it from the beginning, like using elements of other spidermen themes even before the idea of the multiverse came up?

@ezzekieldirks8542 Agreed. I say this because the history of Spider-Man films is richer than even the MCU itself. Raimi's films catapulted the Marvel brand and the Spider-Man name in the early 2000's. It paved the way for mainstream cinematic universe storytelling and grand theatrical comic book filmmaking. The Raimi trilogy is a classic trilogy of drama and story that interconnects its one narrative through 3 films that build into the other seamlessly. It inspired the creation of the MCU and the TASM films paved the way in a way too. The failure of TASM 2 showed that less is more sometimes and it was the right way to go. Kevin Feige saw the overload on that film and how he can use that to move forward a distinct Spider-Man that would change the popularity of him forever. Kevin Feige and Sony have adapted Spider-Man from the classic 60's Stan Lee and Steve Ditko run of comics. Interconnecting him with other heroes allowed him to grow in ways we haven't ever seen. This trilogy felt like a boy transforming into a man throughout the course of his story. Each film got more mature in themes and complexities to ensure no step backs on his development. Tom Holland truly is an amazing Spider-Man, capturing everything I love about this character, putting in the best Spider-Man performance we've ever seen in No Way Home. This film flawlessly captured the heart and sincerity of Sam Raimi's trilogy while keeping a balance between that John Hughes energy that made the previous 2 so heartwarming and fun. The emotion is amped into ways we haven't seen before and was well executed. No MCU film has made me as emotional as the grand ambition that Watts and company have bestowed upon audiences here. I didn't cry in Endgame or Infinity War because I predicted Iron Man's death and Gamora's too. Endgame had too much comedy that paved the way for worse films like Love and Thunder. Thankfully, we actually got a sincere and earnest Spider-Man film that uses the emotional core of the protagonist through nostalgia and memorable set pieces to transform him into the responsible adult he was meant to be, learning from that loss and becoming a better and more respected hero among his teammates. It's a true testament to the power of nostalgia and how it can be used to deliver something huge in scope and scale that no buildup of films over the course of 11 years can do. I've been back and forth over which film I like more, Across the Spider-Verse or No Way Home. No Way Home is the more emotional film for me and the novelty of Tobey and Andrew developing Tom makes it more emotional. The ending of this film is as heartbreaking yet bittersweet as an MCU film can get. It didn't feel like an MCU film in the final moments and became a Spider-Man film. I love this film so much and it deserves a place among the Greatest Comic Book Films of All Time for me and possibly the greatest cinematic experience I've ever had with a comic book film. It's better than even Spider-Man 2 for me. Spider-Man: No Way Home is a fun, exciting, narratively compelling and grand achievement in comic book cinema storytelling that challenges the areas of cinematic universe storytelling of it's own franchise, flawlessly capturing the best of all 3 in one complete experience. 10/10 for me.
4:22-6:09, 6:27-6:58 are the best parts of this beautiful piece of musical composition. I especially love how the music includes hints of Tobey and Andrew’s Spider-Man themes intertwined with the current Holland MCU Spider-Man theme making it a perfect theme/finale to the MCU Spider-Man movie trilogy. Sheer perfection and is definitely the tear inducing song that I’d love to hear at anytime. 4:46 is where the first epic choir singing starts and then increases as the piece continues. 5:14, 6:27 are my favorite parts

Tom's Spider-man got so much experience at such a young age compared to the other two. He did have so many people to support him and mentors. So I think it's safe to say that he'll be a better Spider-man in decision making, leading, fighting skills and maturity than other spider-men in the future.

The final swing scene where Tom's Peter Parker gracefully glides off the roof of his apartment and swings into the snowy night is honestly one of the most powerful ending scenes to a marvel movie since the original Tobey Maguire movies in my opinion.

At 4:22, Tom’s Peter gets his “Responsibility” motif, similar to how Tobey has his own, albeit this one is much more emotional. The swelling of the music and the melancholic feel of the choir pushed this score to the top of all the MCU scores for me.

I love how everyone loves Andrew Garfield now! Come back Andrew, you're the best.
Tom is still better and should stay as the only live action Spider-Man
You can have multiple people play spider man just like how robert pattinson and ben affleck play batman!
Tobey Maguire is a far superior Spider-Man
@Dhryke Strange, if anything this brought more people to Tobeydom.
@@resikin its more likely andrew getting another film, also who came up Tobeydom?
6:27 touched my heart, that scene felt like a heartbroken x10 I can't help but cry every time I watch it
With great heroes, comes great soundtrack
Nice one
Yeah
6:57 just... Beautiful
Was tobeys theme played in the movie?
@@ah447 yeap twice actually
Tom's Spider-man got so much experience at such a young age compared to the other two. He did have so many people to support him and mentors. So I think it's safe to say that he'll be a better Spider-man in decision making, leading, fighting skills and maturity than other spider-men in the future.
micheal giacchino composing the score for this, the batman & love and thunder. how cool is that? what a world we're living in🦇🕷️⚡
Seen the movie twice. This has to be one of the best movies ever!
Agreed. Even on it's own, it's fantastic. It's my favorite MCU film and the mainstream audience's pick for not just the best MCU film but the best Marvel film of all time. It's better than even Endgame for me.
Can we all agree that Aunt May's death music is so touching.
yeah
5:14 When the chorus just swells at this moment reminds me so much of the rouge one theme in a way. It just sounds similar. This is one of the best OSTs I've ever heard.
I thought it was just me. So true. That sad part in the Rogue One Jyn Erso score
Same composer also.
@@therealgoat3367 Yeah
@@j04370859 I knoww that makes it even better
This has topped Endgame as the best movie experience I have ever been too. Without a doubt an amazing movie and the crowd just felt so lively!
from today Michael Giacchino is among my favorite composers along with Danny Elfman and Hans Zimmer 👏👏👏👏👏
Don't forget Steve Jablonsky who did the Transformer movie's music. Say what you will about those movies, one of the best parts was songs like "Arrival to Earth", "Optimus", and "Dinobot Charge"
And don't forget the legend Jhon William and Ludwig Göransson
Elfman's getting there, but my top 3 is as for now Zimmer, Giacchino and Jackman.
My Top 10 on the other hand is:
Hans Zimmer
Henry Jackman
Michael Giacchino
4. Alan Silvestri
5. John Williams
6. Tyler Bates
7. Junkie XL
8. Brian Tyler
9. Danny Elfman
10. Trent Reznor
7:02 nobody really talks about this segment or musical motif of the soundtrack but honestly I think it represents this movie’s tone perfectly.
also we see it later in 8:08-8:38 affecting Peter’s journey in a sense - which is just beautiful
I think its his responsibility theme.
Where os 7:02 from? I know i've heard it before i just dont know on which scenes from who
@@cesarjaramillo1158 I remember hearing it in the lab scene where they make cures for their villains as well as during the closure at the Statue of Liberty
Without any argument, doubt... this movie is the greatest of all time.
Some of tge people argue because you know they disappointed on helmet of goblin and should raimi direct it

Seeing my childhood hero: Tobey - suiting up again was the best thing. Seeing Andrew redeeming himself in so many ways in this movie was so good. And seeing Tom evolving into the real deal at the very end just gave me the biggest chills ever. I'm so hyped about Spidey future now. They really gave the fans a great thrill. Thank you Disney, Marvel Studios and Sony for working together and giving us such golden movie. To all the cast and crew - you guys outdid yourselves. Bravo!
6:57 - 9:29 The Spider-Man theme in its greatest form. ❤

7:59 the best part of the song.
nah it’s 8:11
Willem Dafoe has a highly commendable performance as he does a superb job of embodying this disorder and visually representing its struggles.
The shot of MJ and Ned hugging a folded in Peter was beautiful
I don't really cry...but that part starting at 6:26 along with scene in the movie just moved me deeply. Music itself is just so amazing - Michael Giacchino has great talent.
Giacchino's theme make us cry, what a brilliant use of all themes...
This homecoming theme which was once like a fun suited as good in the tragic ending
1:47 This is the part of the MCU Spider-Man theme that gives me absolute chills!!!
4:22 glad to see classic spiderman and the amazing spiderman.. now we have to go home..
