    Thank you so much for the virtual makeover of my apartment, being able to visualise the possibilities has given me some fresh ideas I hadn't thought of before.
    The kitchen manufacturer had also suggested I get the same flooring throughout so I'll be looking into that.
    For the walls I did initially consider a faux limewash finish but the idea got derailed when I blew my budget on the bathroom.
    Adding feature paneling is not something I would have thought of until I saw it in the video, locally there are several styles in fashion at the moment including a slat sound proofing version, and another that allows for movable shelves.
    The ceiling idea looks like an elegant solution to some cosmetic issues I wasn't sure how to approach and it divides up the space nicely.
    The ceilings are a little bit higher than average here, I had wondered if I had enough space for a loft bed.
    The dining area and desk space give me two areas I can work out of. I had the romantic idea I would be working from the local beaches, gardens, coffee shops or co-working spaces but I get more done at home and not having a dedicated area has been a real headache.
    Someone mentioned in the comments a space for shoes, there are slimline shoe cabinets available from places like IKEA I've had my eye on that fit that exact corner next to the door, they come in both a cottage style panel and a scandi veneer.
    Thanks again,
    Alex 😊

    Nice.... It would be nice as well to add a shoe cabinet / small foyer esp it's Japandi inspired.

    Amazing! I’m a new subscriber, and I’m amazed how you pull together a design even in most tight spaces. I hope to also see a redesigned tiny multipurpose master bedroom (including a mini office, and seating area) with a modern cottage design. Thank you much. Godspeed.

    Love how organized the design seems to be, however, I am not feeling the too much wood veneers. Would be awesome if the design incorporated some genuine wood pieces with natural wood grains. And it doesn’t have to be expensive to get such pieces. One option is having a trip to thrift stores, or maybe Facebook marketplace.

      Thank you for the feedback! The use of wood veneers was actually a preference of the homeowner, chosen to fit within their budget. However, incorporating genuine wood pieces with natural grains is a great idea.

    Thank you for being open with the AI voice and that you use AI as a tool, many are ashamed for this and try to hide it like AI would be something bad. If I had made videos to the public I had also go for a AI voice due to my poor pronunciation and accent that make me feel bad to speak (in another language), but this do not take away from the good ideas, design tips and the presentation of the video. Thank you.

    There's a pretty heavy focus on TVs. I know I'm not in the majority, but I can't help but wonder how they might redesign apartments that don't have TVs (apartments where people don't want a TV).

    • @DesignBurst-2024
      @DesignBurst-2024  День назад +1

      Great point! The design can be tailored for non-TV owners by focusing on alternatives like art walls, bookshelves, or cozy seating arrangements for reading and conversation, creating a space that reflects your lifestyle.

    The kitchen is too tight. Did you consider putting the stove next to the sink and reducing the width of the bottom cabinets on the side wall? This would provide more space and allow the kitchen to look larger. You also could have added a cart-island for additional storage or counter space.

    How are you supposed to open the window if the bed is standing right in front of it?
    Especially if 3-4 persons are supposed to sleep in the room you might need some more air than the air conditioning can provide.

    • @DesignBurst-2024
      @DesignBurst-2024  18 часов назад

      I agree. There’s a gap between the sliding window and the bed, and this is also the owner’s instruction.

    too much light wood and not enough storage, especially for shoes and clothes. it is also missing textures like linen, stone and metals

    • @DesignBurst-2024
      @DesignBurst-2024  27 дней назад +2

      @@thecerdanas Thanks. That is true, but that is the existing location of the aircon, and the homeowner decides not to relocate it.
