Funny story since this started with 0 damage, my teams name came from a guy we ran with back in season 2. Random Bloodhound. Kings Canyon in ranked. Overall our team got into 5 fights the whole match. We ended up winning in the top 2 in a straight up fight too. Whole time our teammate was popping shots and going ham. Or so we thought. Match was over and he had zero damage. So for weeks we'd randomly say "zero.....................damage" and after a while that became our team name: zer0 Damage "z0d" Just cool that we have a story behind it. We owe it to a random who was with us in all the fights in a match and hit nothing but rocks and dirt lol

On the age thing.... Try telling people in game you are nearly 50 while you are carrying them.... Most show sooooo much respect for what it must take for an old guy to be good at gaming, gives me the rather confused feeling of wanting to choke them whilst I give them a hug.... I definitely feel for the kids that ask why their dad doesn't play (they seem so let down when they realise their dad could if he wanted to).
Turning 30 wasn't that bad for me. Turning 40 was a different story. Everything hurts more and knowing I'm at the mid point of my life is not fun. My mid-life crisis was getting back into snowboarding and learning ice hockey. I tore up my knee one week after turning 40 in hockey, first knee injury ever. Also what the hell is with getting hurt in your sleep? I never knew that was a thing haha. That said I'm actually playing better in Apex than I ever have.
idk if your just used to pc but console is a joke you dont really need to give comms or play with your team up till pred every lobby is 20 bomb possible and once you get used to console that should be a norm lol gl

Maybe if they made a game mode where one or two teams basically have cheats, and all the other teams in the lobby are trying to kill them. Let type chat be across the entire team to strategize, but have mic be proximity so you don't always have 50 people trying to talk at the same time. Kinda like the rev mid they had not too long ago. But communication is gonna be key in it being a great mode or not I think. Also you have a mode where people can cheat and get all that good feelings they get from it. (So hopefully stay out of ranked) And kinda like a souls game, I'm sure some people would like the challenge of taking on cheaters, especially when they can gang up with a bunch of people and take them out. That feeling of everyone coming together to overcome an obstacle they couldn't on their own. Idk, I think there might be something there, but then there is always the thought of introducing cheats to more players will make them want to play with cheats outside that game mode, so more people start cheating in ranked br. But if the mode is giving them that extreme fun of cheating, to where they get that feeling a lot more than in a normal br game cheating, they might stay out of br and stay in the mode they are getting the feeling out of the game they want. It would be a balance of making the cheaters feel stronger, but not be so strong they can never lose so nobody wants to play against them. Or just have enough times as being the cheater, like 1 out of 4 games your guaranteed to play the cheater role unless you chose to only play the non cheater role. Or maybe kinda take a mode from battlefield, the conquest mode or whatever it was called. Have the cheaters defend a position or objective like a bomb and the non cheaters have to do the objective or take the position or just kill the cheaters in a certain amount of team lives. And if they do then the cheaters fall back to another position and the non cheaters have to attack again. Or the opposite and the non cheaters defend a large poi, and the cheaters have to infiltrate or kill a certain amount, and if all the cheaters die once they lose. Maybe give the non cheaters the best version of each gun, or bring back all attachments and allow them to attach to any gun and give it a buff, all the experimental things can be put in this mode for the non cheaters, let them have all the fun of an overpowered gun or ability while you tune it for br. Or just to see what a gun would do in apex when players have it. I don't think they are ever gonna "fix" the cheater problem. I think the best they can do is give them a mode to cheat in. Yet make it fun enough for the non cheaters so the mode can survive. Letting the non cheaters use the overpowered guns and abilities, new guns that aren't fair and could never be in br, they are going against cheaters man, balance is much less an issue, if anything they will be needed to help beat the cheaters. But you also can't give them too much the cheaters aren't having fun now. Idk, maybe it can't be somewhat balanced, maybe people wouldn't like that anyways. Just an idea I had.

So before I see this so called carry my biggest thing is going off of damage you can have a 20 bomb and 1000 damage while ur teammate has a 4k and 2 kills I'd still say the 4k carried and the 20 bomb just cleaned up wouldn't really say they did much comparatively And as a bang main I hate wattsons lol ruins all your ult.
