So to clear up some confusion, Nine Lashes actually is a Christian rock band. Don't flip out on me, I'm not saying this because of the bible verse, I'm saying this because I'm actually a big NL fan and have stuck by their music for years. They're christian but don't let it mess with their music too much. If anyone wants proof, go to the wiki or at least research them, you'll find everything you need there. Also, their music doesn't aim for just Christians, it's for anyone who wants to listen
Rocco boy, you should listen Nine Lashes "Break the World" There you atleast see clearly a word Christ and how singer found him. :) Clear mark of Christian music.

+cPolonium They are and have said it themselves it's just not overly apparent though their music, which is why I still listen to them despite not being christian
This would actually work really well for a music video of CW's Flash. Like "These stolen seconds, they were never mine", just, PERFECT! It fits Barry so perfectly! Please, someone make this a thing, I'd watch the heck out of it! 😆😭💙💙💙💙💙💙
Wut? People talks here about that Nine Lashes are not Christian Rock band? Lyrics doesn't need to include words of god or anything related to it. Most of Christian Rock bands doesn't have anything related to the god in their lyrics and still they are Christian Rock bands. (Look up bands like Demon Hunter, RED, Thousand Foot Krutch and Skillet).
+Terasedward I do agree but i disagree on the fact that red, tfk, DM and skillet dont have any songs about God.. For example : Not alone - red Yours again - red skillet - what i believe tfk- so far gone the are a lot more of these i just dont have the time to write them down... Although i do agree on the fact that being a christian band does not mean you have *God related * songs! have a nice day
What I meant by my comment is that they don't need to include clear words of God to every song they have even they are Christian Rock bands. People here on comments says "They're not Christian Rock bands because they don't sing about God or Christ in THIS SONG" and that's why I wrote my comment. :) To inform people it's not necessary to have God and Christ in every song lyrics. As an example Nine Lashes is really good. This song (The Intervention) doesn't include clearly words of God or Christ, but "Break the World" have clear line: "But I found the Christ. The Light in the sky." And another good example is Demon Hunter. "I will fail you" is good example. They sing about that how this murder reminds Christ of the crucifixion, even they don't say anything about Christian stuff in that song. Some people are there too on comments like "They are not sinning anything like that.." + One reason why I love Christian Rock bands as atheist is that they use other words for God and Christ too. I can interpret songs differently.
Alright.. now i fully understood what you meant there ! its good that you can interpret songs differently ... especially christian songs which can be taken having either a religious meaning or something about love or anything else in life tbh :D

I hate how people undermine Christians So hard and just assume All of them is gonna talk about how you should *GIVE YO LIFE TO JESUS* it gonna so bad that even Christians hate Christians. Not all Christians Rock Music gonna talk about Christian themes all the freaking time. Just cause they’re Christians doesn’t mean it gonna majorly affect their music into that Environment and I feel like Three Days Grace and Nine Lashes Represent that. I think we should not look on Religion so much and enjoy the context of the song. Like if y’all atheists and can make a banger song then I’m down with that, Same with Christians and I’m not saying that just because I’m also Christian
+Rebecca Davis Well their music is in category of "Christian rock" :D Obvious thing. I like in most of Christian rock bands about lyrics. They do not clearly say anything about god and stuff so you can think songs from other view too. (I listen a lot of Christian rock, even I am atheist)
wow, they used a line from the Bible [which I might add I don't know what line they used, never read the Bible] that doesn't make them Christian. I know a band that quoted a Hindu God - that doesn't make them Hindus. Ugh, lines from religious books or any books doesn't make you one of them.
But they actually are a Christian band. The bands Facebook page states, "We are a group of guys passionately chasing Christ. We write music in the hopes that it impacts someone and brings them one step closer to our Father."
I didn't know that, thanks for letting me know :) But still, I think it's stupid to assume that a band is of a particular faith because they quote the religion's texts.
This song is so addicting

yeah, wiki is the BEST place in the world to get your information. (sarcasm) wiki is terrible anyone can change anything at any time
RoccoDelTaco Gaming true, but nevertheless Nine Lashes is still a Christian band :P
+RoccoDelTaco Gaming also they openly admit it, but as Jeremy mentioned in an interview they desire their music be interpreted in any way.
Rocco boy, you should listen Nine Lashes "Break the World" There you atleast see clearly a word Christ and how singer found him. :) Clear mark of Christian music.
i dont listen to 9 lashes anymore
The Intervention"
If I could breathe
The whole world is out
And they want to get me to bleed
And these stolen seconds
They were never mine
So if you believe
That somehow you killed your dream
Just listen close to mine
Wait, this whole intervention is mine
I'm failing to mention
Tame
We'll start the crossing with the simple lines
Wake up on the other side of
Sane
Still held in place, they blame the simple lines
Wake up to the dreams that we have made
The dreams that we have made
See, if we let them take what was ours to conceive
Then these circumstances, they will never die
So if you believe the world has killed your dreams
Then take your turn to shine
Indeed, the brilliant invention is mine
I have their attention
Tame
We'll start the crossing with the simple lines
Wake up on the other side of
Sane
Still held in place, they blame the simple lines
Wake up to the dreams that we have made
The dreams that we have made
(The dreams that we have made)
Wait
This whole intervention is mine
I'm failing to mention
Today
Though the world had cemented its heart
It's starting to break
Tame
We'll start the crossing with the simple lines
Wake up on the other side of
Sane
Still held in place, they blame the simple lines
Wake up to the dreams that we have...
Tame
We'll start the crossing with the simple lines
Wake up on the other side of
Sane
Still held in place, they blame the simple lines
Wake up to the dreams that we have made
The dreams that we have made

I'm pretty sure at 1:31 it's "brilliant invention" "not brilliant intervention." (a bit of a nitpick I know)
+The one named Bob The issue with that, is that the video would have to be edited and re-uploaded. Not many people will do that.
+Yami “Yandere” Okami wasn't saying he should re-upload it just saying In case anyone wanted to know. Also, annotations.
The one named Bob Mine are always off xD
This song is so good

How do you know?
ya they are
I really want an instrumental version of this
why are people discussing about being "christian and not having 'christian' lyrics". Just appreciate the music
:D

They're Christian. No doubt about it. Maybe you can't tell from this song, but you can in a lot of them, if you know how to discern worldviews.
+Rebecca Davis Well their music is in category of "Christian rock" :D Obvious thing. I like in most of Christian rock bands about lyrics. They do not clearly say anything about god and stuff so you can think songs from other view too. (I listen a lot of Christian rock, even I am atheist)

Sun Child You're welcome. I don't blame you for that either. I know many bands who quote verses from the bible but aren't religious.
Yep, they're christian. But they don't let that get in the way of their music
+Firebird's Child Avenged Sevenfold has tons of biblical references (their name) and they are not religious! So yes sir you are correct.
What biblical line did they use (sorry for not knowing)
