Adam Tuminaro you are the best and we are following you every drum lesson. We need just one favor. Could you give me some music tracks for the fills that you are showing? For the trap lesson we found a backing track but for this lesson we are having trouble.
That audio engineer is doing a phenomenal job of getting your drum tones juuuust right. Incredibly tasty, and that's coming from a guitarist! Killer lesson, too!
WOW!! Adam...MAN!! You are blowing me away! I can't believe how crisp, solid, and purposeful your playing has become! I haven't watched you in almost 2 years (crazy, yes. I know.) and your musical growth, maturity and skill are through the roof!. Keep posting, you have a fan for life.Thank you!
Loved the lesson. Had to use my double pedal because I'm not there with my single foot yet. I still can't grasp heel toe or the slide. Works well with the double pedal though, so thanks!
I really like how even within the diddle the time still remains solid. I've diddled the bass drum before in some grooves but I always have that nasty problem of rushing that fill when I try to get back into the groove. Are there any tips I can use to fix my rushing problem?
never saw your stuff before .. popped up in recommended. pretty cool, I was expecting something on ICED EARTH the coming curse type double bass stuff though.. but still cool
Hey Adam , I'm a new sub to your channel you do a great job with your tutorials, I love the sound you get from your floor tom what size is it what heads are on it and is that a Evans Emad ring on the top ? keep those vids coming!!
While I've used this type of thing in rock here and there, this is a rampant approach to metal drumming as a whole. And how most metal drummers start playing a double pedal.
How do you do a single foot diddle that fast with your toes so far up the pedal? I have always found that i have a lot more speed, and not to mention stamina, when using the mid section of the pedal for fast two note groupings.
w. tibbs clemens I would highly recommend checkout out my Ultimate Technique Lesson Pack. It contains a very extensive foot technique lesson. Link in description 👊🏼
Is there any particular way to get your bass drum to respond better to kick diddiling? I have found easier and harder throughout my drumming life on my own kit and other peoples kits to do this.... or is it just practice? :)
Is it better to have your bass pedal loose or tight? I've been trying out a lot of different configurations but I can't seem to find one that works for me.
I have doing something similar with my kick pedal but I do it differently considering the fact that I play flat footed, so I take my foot and either I kick the pedal down and I bounce it I guess terminology would be, or I’ll run my foot across the pedal and I get the same affect
Hey Adam i really appreciate your videos, on one of your videos you made a tutorial about Hand Techniques and i learned from there, you should make a video about Foot Technique this time especially for Double Strokes, also include what technique you use. Thanks! Greetings from Philippines.
Danison Pagatpatan Thanks Danison, much appreciated. =) I have a 90 minute Technique Lesson Pack on OrlandoDrummer.com that covers all my techniques, including the ones you mentioned. Hope this helps! 👊🏼
Woo that Lingo is somethin that I can't comprehend so easily now.. Bro, ko doubt good lessons but please try to be bit simple too.. I mean there are every kind of players watching and learning from you. Some might not understand that music notations. If you can post a video on reading learning about notation. That would be great thanks
Yes... but how do you play that fast on the kick? I have no technique and can't find out how you do it? I really wanna learn your fills, but most of your tutorials use a fast double kick. Can you please teach that, otherwise I can't learn half of your fills?
@@AdamTuminaro Thank you for your answer! So you teach the technique you use for double-strokes or? And I can't seem to find the "Ultimate Technique" under Lesson Packs?
26 people thought I said "diddle the kids."

Loved the lesson. Had to use my double pedal because I'm not there with my single foot yet. I still can't grasp heel toe or the slide. Works well with the double pedal though, so thanks!
Jake Summers you don’t need heel toe or slide, just a regular fast double stroke. Don’t overthink it.
@@thomassurdi1 AMEN. couldn't have said this better. Its more basic than it sounds
Where did your dreads go dude?? Loving your ideas, I have a few that Ive adopted into my bag! Oh and that rug "Really Ties the room together!
Nice

Sick nasty lesson recording quality has come a long way love it!
Sick nasty, asshat!Suuuhhhhh
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was sample replaced or triggered or something. No kick drum sounds like that.
Thomas Surdi Lol. Mine does. I’ve literally never triggered a drum in my life.
Ok well then I need to know what mic you’re using!
Thomas Surdi Description 👆🏼
Top man
your drumset sounds insane
Can you please do something about useing quad kick groupings with a single pedal
What are you using on your floor tom to produce that deep sound? Sounds nice
I LIKE
Wicked video! Also, non drum related...where did you get those shoes from?! love ‘em 👌
If Adam's stuttering sounds buttery smooth, then mine sounds like crunchy peanut butter...
TheFearedPhantom and mine are more like stale potato chips, croutons, and staples lmfao
Hahaha
Top 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

What shoes you rocking? I've been skeptical lacking in nice shoes vs my Onitsuka Tiger?
what type of single pedal exercise's can you do to achieve the kick stutter
thx ...
This lesson should go in Jamie Olvier's channel cause it's TASTYYYYY

Adam Tuminaro thanks man!

Probably using his own little slide technique there.
Can you do a lesson on how to diddle with kick?

John Sprague Practice and using proper technique. 👊🏼 My Ultimate Technique Lesson Pack can be found at the link in description.
Accent the second note more
can you make a tutorial on kick speed excersises ?
Phill Neville Done! Tons of lessons on kick speed at the link in the description. 😉
great \m/
bro can you show how did you tune ur drums
Is it better to have your bass pedal loose or tight? I've been trying out a lot of different configurations but I can't seem to find one that works for me.
Try sticking to one configuration bro, it's just a matter of time before you solidify it
The tighter the pedal, the more force you need to press it down, the tighter the muscles get, the slower you are. This is just my opinion.
a lesson for mixing?
Lately it hasn't rained too much, but I will continue practicing for when it happens... lml
Can we get a lesson on what you're doing between the lessons?
Eric Valero It's all random improv my man! My Grouping and Phrasing Masterclasses would be the closest thing to those clips. 😉 Hope this helps!
does he work the bass pedal with just one foot? and if yes could you show us how?
Shelby Lytle My Ultimate Technique Lesson Pack has my kick method broken down. You can find it at the link in the description. 👍🏼
